Dirty little secret - even if you pay it before they call, they will claim they collected it.   They make commissions off this and have contests for lavish trips to Hawaii for the ones who collect the most per month.   I knoew three people who work in these call centers and they all tell me the same thing.  Chase is one of the worst companies because they outsource thier collections to the lowest bidders even on 10 day late bills.   You can even pay it online a few days late and notice on your bill it says Phone Payment - thats how they claim they collected it.

This cannot be collections!!! I have dealt with many collections agencies in the past, and they always call from a blocked/unavailable number. PLUS I don't have any credit cards. I paid both of them off well over a year ago. One of them was Citi, but when they called it was from an unavailable number and was once a week MAYBE. These people have called me 30 times in the past 10 days. Twice daily and 4 times every Saturday. I finally got fed up an answered and there was a man on the other end (who finally responded after me yelling hello in the phone for 20 seconds) and he asked for Robert. Once I told him there was no Robert at the number he immediately hung up. I'm beyond pissed. The damn calls wake me up every morning!

Thanks for the info! I had no idea it was chase! I have received a total of 37 missed calls.. i called the number, it says "stay on the line for an important message" then dead air! just static... no important message. I had a Washington Mutual Account, who Chase bought out. My interest rate went from 10.5% to 21% with no explaination.... Go figure!!! I reccomend to all readers to pay your balance, then tell them to f##k off, and cancel.

Got a call from this number, no message left, I called back and an electronic voice answered.  I immediately hung up.

Wow. Same deal. I actually had to turn my profile to "off" on my berry because I was tired of my pocket vibrating.  Asked verizion if they had a SIT tone available as a ringback to defend against automated dialers and they had no comment.

Calls come in from this number at least 4 times per day. It seems to be an automated dialer and no one ever answers. They do not leave a message.  I am on the do not call registry - to no avail.

ALSO REGISTER YOUR NUMBER AT "DO NOT CALL" number is 888-382-1222...telemarket people...and others are not allowed to call you after your phone has been registered you can file a complaint....but it takes 31 days to register your phone so do it now...

is this place a legit place or what..and what time are banks allowed to f***in call you in the morning? they keep calling me at 6 to 7 am and say i owe money since MARCH! IVE ALREADY PAYED MY BILLS LOL....by the way do banks even ask you your whole social number?....ive called the collection services with chase and they said they dont even call you that often or anything...also sidenote they called me 6 am in the morning on F***in memorial day...BANKS DO NOT CALL YOU ON HOLIDAYS FOR SURE!...if they keep calling you before 8 am (legal time to call) you can report that number for harassment!...im currently trying to make a lawsuit against that number and see IF I CAN COLLECT MONEY FROM THEM if they keep continue to call me before 8 am..PISSING ME OFF! they just called me and they tried to collect my information such az social security number,full name,mothers maiden name.all of them are indian and i believe they are not from chase.someone should go after them.

these people are nuts!!! nothing said after good morning!  of course I answered "What do you want?"....they are not calling on behalf of HSBC....I am not delinquent on my payments...I want them to call again, I have something planned for them!!!

This number 1-224-222-8004 is chase card services.  If you owe them money, they will not give up until you pay! I get anywhere from 1-10 phone calls a day on my cell,home and work! I think they outsource to India or something! It is always an Indian person on the other end.

I get calls from this # at least 10 times a day starting at 8AM and ending at 11PM or so. Apparently this number is from Chase collections. However due to the recent taxpayer bailouts of corrupt banking institutions, I no longer feel that I owe ANYTHING to these companies. If anything, they owe ME $$$$. If you get a call from this #, DO NOT COOPERATE!!!

it's chase credit card collections. which is fine they can call. but are they allowed to call starting at 5 a.m. and stop at 11 p.m.? with about 18 missed calls a day? there has to be something against this harrassment.

Calling me to.  I called the do not call number today.(3/25/09)  Hope it works.

Ask them to speak to a supervisor. I called this number back and i got some indian lady. I  was extremely rude and asked them to be transfered to a supervisor. I talked with the supervisor and found out that one of my family members actually has an outstanding balance with Chase.

So I started to play "You Can Hate Me Now" by Nas so when I sit at my computer and they call, I turn up the music, hit answer and let that play over the phone. I find it hilarious that they hang up a few seconds after the song's playing.

i have received 73 missed calls from this number PLUS 302-222-8004. Add in there the 10 or so calls that i have answered from each- where they start off by saying that they are from card services and need my acct number and ssn.
i am getting sick and tired of my phone going off all hours of the night and while i am at work. Granted- i have it on silence, but when 5 comes around and i've got 12 missed calls all from the same number with ABSOLUTELY NO VOICEMAIL to back up why they are calling...it's beyond rediculous.

These idiots call several times a day; I have no account with Chase Bank, and I'm wondering how they get by with this harassment. When I asked one of them to remove my number from their calling list, the guy said something with a heavy foreign accent and acted like he was mentally retarded (act?). I've purchased a loud boat horn and I'm waiting for the next call...

They've called 10 times so far today.  Yesterday they called until 10pm.
They start calling at 6:30 am.  Isn't that illegal?

This number called me twice today. Once at 8:34am and the next at 8:55am. Its only noon now so I wonder if they will call again. Isnt it illegal for them to call before 9Am?

i, too, receive mulitple calls per day from this number on my work cell phone.  i don't recognize the number so i don't answer and the caller never leaves a message.  i'm going to investigate if my phone has the capability to block this number.

i wrote a nasty gram to chase via their website and received a prompt email response that i was removed from their call lists (of course it will take 4-6 weeks!) call 1-800-436-7927 to get yourself removed and STOP THE INSANITY!

Seiriously? Do you need to call me 3 times at 7 in the morning on a Saturday? No. I don't care who you are or that I might owe you money. When I have some you might be lucky enough to get it Chase Bank. Which you f-ing suck buy the way. Credit card payment protection my butt. Its supposed to make it so you avoid late fees if you can't pay them back right away and they tack on about $17 a month. It doesn't do anything but add more charges. Considering I told the man whome happened to be Indian/Eastern numerous times I didn't want it. I'm honestly switching banks. They wont even let my land lord who I'm good friends with and also work with cash my rent checks without calling me and asking what the amount is and the check number.  Do not ever use Chase.
Also the number to get yourself off the list thats on the first page. I just called it takes 30 calander days. Really? It's compurterized but takes 30 days? Thats bull.

this number has been calling me insisting that i give them a check by phone. i had my card stolen and i am working out the fraud charges and they keep calling me and i always get a guy who doesn't speak English well and he doesn't get it that i am NOT making a payment because this is FRAUD! i told him this several times and he just hung up. i'm so pissed off these calls start at 6:30AM. from 6:30AM-9:00AM they have called my cell phone 10 times! the even call at 11:30PM!!! this crap IS harassment and i'm sick of it!
