THIS IS A BATON ROUGE AREA CODE, THEY STRATED CALLING ME ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND THEY CALL AT LEAST 2 TO 3 TIMES A DAY ! EVERYTIME I ANSWER THEY HANG UP! I AM UNABLE TO GET TO THE VOICEMAIL BC IT SAYS THEY HAVE TOO MANY MESSAGES! I HAVE BEEN READING INFO ON OTHER PPL THAT HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS SAME GUY THAT CALLS THESE PPL ALMOST EVERYDAY FROM THIS SAME NUMBER ? THEY ARE SAYING THAT WHEN THEY ANSWER SOMETIMES HE WILL  TALK ABOUT POLICE DEPARTMENT NEEDING MONEY FOR SOME FUNDRAISER FROM THE BATON ROUGE POLICE DEPT! I HAVE ALREADY CALLD THE PD OFFICE AND THEY SAY THAT NUMBER IS NOT VALID THROUGH THERE DEPT!?? Has been calling my number since last week.  Calls 4 times a day.  Never leaves a message on my voicemail.  Definitely a scam artist.

I have noticed this number appearing on my missed calls alot lately. It called again today but I did not get to the phone in time. When I tried to call it back it says that the person at that extension cannot be reached. My boyfriend has answered a call about a police fraternity and he told them that we were not interested.

Called at 1:03 pm, immediately hung up before I completed introducing myself. This is a business number they called.

I got one call from this number a couple of weeks ago asking for an alleged donation to the police union.  I hung up.  I now get a call from this number every other day and they hang up when I answer.

This number calls my house almost daily. I know that there is a LA Order of Fraternal Police (I think that's the name) who calls for the retired police officers, but their name comes up on the caller ID. These people are obviously not legit. It doesn't matter if you are on the do not call list. Many places have ways of getting around the rules of that list. Also, if someone wants to get people's numbers all you have to do is contact the phone companies and pay for lists. I worked for a business before that did it. I just won't answer the phone anymore now that I know it's nobody important!

1-225-330-5933 just called.  I did not answer since I did not recognize the number calling my business phone, also I do not answer "UNKNOWN NAME"
calls after 5. Call was received at 5:45 p.m.  Do not know if they call during the day.  Will have to check the caller ID on previous calls recently.  I do get a lot of "unknown's" from various numbers after 5 p.m.
Sometimes I have answered and it's a recorded voice which I hang up on.
Sometimes phone will ring off the wall, but I do not answer.

This number called my home and said nothing ...hung up on me.  Baton Rouge area code. I am on a Do Not Call list for Louisiana and National. I suggest to everyone this information.  Contact the Louisiana Attorney Generals office at http://www.ag.state.la.us/ There let them know you want to report this charity and you need a Charity Complaint Form.  Fill out this form and an attorney from the state will contact you.  They will investigate and stop this mess.  Also contact the FCC at their website and report this number for fraud or calling violations.

they constantly call and for those who think it is a legit fundraiser go ahead and send them money they will continue to call you and hound you for more ha ha - a legit place would only call a couple of times at the most and not continue calling your number constantly for over two to three months ongoing sometimes more than once in a day - i went to their website and saw that they are sponsoring to pay peoples bills and even credit card bills, come on we all have bills too and we know how to cut the plastic instead of paying for someones spending habits - www.dpoa.us/ this was their website it can no longer be accessed, why? run people don't walk they are just after one thing and that is your hard worked money - they posted people presumably with needs and amount paid and these people were not local for you to be able to follow up and investigate - for an organization representing disabled police officers to harass people by frequent phone calls at all hours of the day and night they should be arrested and be put in jail - do you get the pun on where i am coming from - i don't know how to stop this madness of calls but would probably have to pay for additional service on my phone bill to be able to block certain numbers that call - good luck to all that get calls or who have given money to them for they are persistent in calling and calling and calling - don't give them your money and just hang up if they keep calling

They called this after noon. When I answered a guy said he was Ron from the Louisiana Police Association. I asked why the caller ID would come up Unknown if he was from a legitimate association and he hung up on me.

Just got my first call from 225-330-5933.  Hung up when I answered.  I am on the do not call list also?  My number is also TOTAlly private!!!  How did they get my number in the first place???

Call and hang up. When I call back it goes straight to an automated voicemail and says the mail box is full. I am on the do not call list as well.

There seems to be a pattern between this number calling me and 318-734-5195. When I try to call either one back an automated answering service picks up. It is very aggravating. They can't just leave a message?

I've gotten a call everyday for the past week from this number.  So has my 16 yr old daughter.  They told her they were the Baton Rouge police dept. and they HAD to talk to a parent or guardian.  I call the Baton Rouge PD and they said that is NOT one of their numbers.  Several of my neighbors have gotten calls also.

I've received this call twice and each time something happened with my phone and I was unable to complete the call. I think they said "Baton Rouge Police Department, Board of Appeals." Glad to know its a fundraiser I was starting to worry why the BR police would be tryingto get a hold of me...

Its the Louisiana Union Police Association asking for a donation to combat drugs.  You don't give them any bank information, and you just commit to a small amount. They will send you an Anti-Drug bumper sticker.  Not a scam.

Got a call from this number at 5:43pm on Sept. 28th. When I answered the phone they hung up. I tried to call back and it said the voice mail box was not accepting messages. This call came in on my cell phone which is on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!!
