Received a call from this number and did not answer it. No mesage was left. When I returned the call to see who I missed I got a recording saying this number is not in service.

I received a call from 239-690-6135 on my cell phone.  As I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer at the time.  There was no message left and when I called the number back (from my home line), there was absolutely no response - no message from the phone company that this number wasn't working, not even a ring.

Keep getting calls from this # along with 239-690-6134, 239-690-6132 and 239-690-6138. Haven't answered them yet and after reading everyone else's response, I'm not going to. I too have placed my resume on websites and am getting these strange calls. I live & work in 239 area code.

I received a call from this number and since it was a 239 number I answered it.  I live in the 239 area.  The caller specificly asked for me and I did not say yes or no but instead asked who was calling.  He said maybe you can help me and started in about a trip to Montana (which I am from).  I said not interested and hung up.  I called the number back and got a recording stating the number is not in service.  What gets me is that my cell phone is in my roommates name and not mine.

On getting back to the house i checked my caller ID and noted 239-690-6135. I live in the 239 area code area so was curious and went on the internet and found this website thru Google. Then I remembered that my family had called from UK at that same time SO somehow my family's UK number which normally shows up in caller ID (although we mostly use skype)showed up as 239-690-6135.  Curious, I called the 239-690-6135 number and it was "out of service".
So it appears that some software somewhere is somehow putting this number on caler ID when it is really a genuine foreign caller who is calling. That is DEFINITELY the case in my case. It's a phone software issue that is causing this. We have Embarq but I don't know if it is their problem or not.

they called me several times since the last weekend and have a strong accent.  then ask me about my address? and when I asked the guy from where his calling or regarding they mentioned some company that I cannot understad. this is freaking.

I just got a call from this number as well. The woman had a very strong accent and asked for someone that I couldn't understand.  The call came on my cell which is a 239 area code.  I have also gotten some calls from 818-456-1234.  I googled this number and got a lot of the same responses as with the 239 number.  I fear whomever it is got my cell phone number from my resume.  I submited my resume on a couple of popular job sites only to get emails back wanting more information from me.  Come to find out, they were bogus and they were using well known company names.  Has anyone else submitted for jobs and then had the calls start?

I have been getting calls from this number also.  I was not available to answer and let it go to voice mail.  Never leaves message?  I fear returning the call - concerned it might be relayed to a 900 number or something that will become expensive toll calls? I also reside in the 239 area code - hmmm?

Has called every day and hangs up as soon as I answer the phone.
