They call everyday and never leave a message.

Robocall (only received a partial message on my voicemail) selling a "free" security system, including installation. All I have to do is be a homeowner and agree to place one of their signs in front of my home. Gives the option to be connected to a representative or press 3 to be removed.

So much for the DNC list. And never press a number to be removed. That just confirms that yours is a working number and the calls will escalate. Better to block them.

Between telemarketers ignoring the DNC list and one nasty bill collection company who doesn't believe that I'm not the person he's looking for (totally wrong number and name), most days I want to pull the phone out of the wall.

i just received a call from this number...when i answered and said hello twice.... no response so i hung up.  then googled the number and came here.  i also am on the do not call list.  i just hate spamming scammers!

My Caller ID calls this number 'private caller' and it hangs up when I answer.

Rec'd call from this #, wasn't able to answer. I goggled it and this page came up.  My # is on the "DO NOT CALL" list.  Why did I get a/this scam call??

i got a call on my cell i didn;t know who it was and i did not anwser it the number is 240-206-0729 they better stop calling me

I've received several calls from this number on my cell phone and I'm not sure why because I use my cell phone to make phone calls only.  Anyway, I called the number from my office phone to see what would happen, I was going to ream the person for calling my cell phone.  On comes a recording.  It provides you with an option to have your phone number removed (it'll take them 7-10 days for this process).

got this call again that number is (240) 206-0729 i did not anwser it cause i don't know the number or who it is.is there away to stop that call?

i got this call on my cell phone didn't kno the number so i didn't pick it up it showed the number from being in bowie,washington

recieved a call from the same number today. I dont answer if i dont recognize the number and they didnt leave me a voice mail. Probally the same scam as above. I recieved a couple calls last year that was a scam about a cruise.

I received a call from this number but did not pick up since I didn't recognize it. No one left a message so I'm assuming it's related to the same Cancun trip "scam". I have been receiving ridiculous telemarketing calls from numbers that start with "240" and normally don't pick them up. So here is another one to look out for.

I apparently won a trip to Cancune from this number but because I wasn't 25 y/o I could redeem my winnings. I have a feeling it may be a scam, the women was not very helpful and even waited 45 secs for me to hang up after she told me I wasn't eligible. I turn 25 next month and she had prompted me to call back when I am of age (offers like that don't wait for you) so I asked her for a number to call. She replied with a cold "don't you have the number on your caller ID" and sounded like she was working in a news-room in the background.

The most alarming part of this that googling the number took me straight here. Normally, if it were a real company, I would have been directed to their promotional website. I wouldn't trust this call.
