call them back and tell them that you will report them if they don't stop calling. I had my mother do that and she hasn't gotten another call from them since. Most likely it well go to an answering service but still leave your message.

This auto warranty agent or what ever they really are, called my mother about ten times last week and she kept telling them, she wasn't interested and the one time the guy yelled at her and said " BUT YOU NEED IT WOMAN" so my mother called me and told me what happen, so I told her to call them back and tell them that she'll report them the next time they called, well she did and of course it went to an answering service but she left the message. She hasn't heard from them since.

How do you stop the calls from 240-318-1602.  This is very irritating to get call from them multiple times a day.  When I answer, there is no one there.  Auto warranty people according to my caller ID

This is an aftermarket auto extended warranty *scam*! 2 calls today from them from *different* area codes. Looking for someone that had an Infinity that the manufacturers warranty was about to run out. both times I d****d around with them to get info as to who they were calling for. Same dude both times. The other number from them was 732-807-5611. same background callcenter noise. my number is TN areacode yet the person they were calling for was in Brooklyn, NY. Obviously a Robo calling system. No way these guys are legit. Wanted me to buy their extended coverage. When I said they had already called early, but from 732 (New Jersey), they seemed quite "surprised". For grins, when she asked how many miles I had on it after 2 years, I told her 70,000. "Wow! You sure drive a lot of miles!" Then I told her I sold it, and she hung up on me. I have them blocked now. FYI.

Got a call on 1/16/14 from this number at work and it came up as Auto Warranty on the caller ID.  Had seen this on my caller ID as a missed call many times previously.  Picked up the phone and the caller indicated that my factory warranty was about to expire and I needed to renew it.  I replied I'm not going to extend my warranty.  He started to give me reasoning why I need this and how car repairs are expensive and I need this to protect my investment.  I again told him I didn't think I needed it and wasn't willing to pay for it.  He became angry at this point and asked me how long I plan on keeping my car and I replied that was none of his business and again indicated I will not be extending my warranty.  He then indicated that this call was recorded and I needed to grab a pen and paper and take down the cancelation number.  I replied no thanks, and he elevated his voice and told me strongly that I needed to grab a pen and paper as the call was being recorded  and said the number off again.  He then asked me to repeat it and I hung up.  This is either a phishing scam looking for information or the rudest customer service rep. ever knowing that they are being recorded and speaking to potential customers like this.  Either way don't tell these people anything and report them.

I received a call from this number while at work. I do not use my work phone for any personal business and never put my direct number on anything. Even my business cards have my assistant's number so the calls can be screened first. When this call came in I answered on speaker. I waited, no response. Instead of hanging up I continued to work while the call remained on speaker. I was curious and assumed it was a robot call. Sure enough after about 20 seconds a woman gets on the phone and states, that she is "from that company that handles your car warranty." and then she states that "her records show" that I have "a lot of miles on my car." and then she asks me "how many miles do you have now?" I started laughing to myself, what a brilliant scam (albeit immoral). The very nature of this approach would quickly weed out anyone with their wits about them and only leave the vulnerable...

It is just like the Nigerian Prince email scams, in short a way to quickly identify the most vulnerable individuals who will be likely to fall for their scam. My thought is that if everyone they called kept them on the line as long as possible this would not be a profitable effort on their part. Just don't give them any personal information. If they start making threats, remember - they called you. Right now I am patiently waiting for them to call back...

These clowns keep calling my work number and my cell number.  They are trying to sell a warrenty to my 2012 Nissan.  Name of company is National Auto. I called Nissan and was told they are a third party company that received my information from the DMV (I purchased my car in NJ and have recently moved to PA). National Auto is NOT affliated with Nissan.  Seems to me it is a service that tries to get people to pay for something they may or may not need.  Hope this information helps.

Aggressive scam artist trying to solicit personal info to sell you auto warranty coverage.  They cleverly advertise themselves as "handling warranty claims for GM".  This is not affiliated with the GM recommended warranty extension underwritten by Ally.  I feel bad for the unsuspecting folks that fall for this.  Right now trying to figure out appropriate authorities to alert, state and federal  (MD number calling OH)

Received a call from this number around 3:30.  Don't know anyone in Maryland, but answered.  I've gotten these calls before, and typically they just hang up and never say anything.  This guy started talking finally, and I could tell he wanted to sell me a car warranty.  I interrupted him and said "I'm not interested, and can you remove me from your list?"  That caught him off guard.  He said "what??"  I said, "I'm not interested in your warranty, and would you please remove me from your list?"  He mumbles something, and I hear him talking to someone else in the room, "huh?  This guy says he's not interested and wants off the list.  What do I do?".  That's when I hung up and added the number to my block list.

I just received a call from this number. I called back & was directed to an answering service. It seems this company is targeting senior citizens.  I answered the phone, a man started asking questions about my parents & the warranty on their car. I refused to let him speak to my parents and I started to question him, that's when he hung up on me. I called back & was directed to an answering service. I called the MD Better Business Bureau; a recording told me I need  zip code to file a complaint.  If anyone has a zip code or address for the Warranty Auto in Clinton, MD...Please contact the local BBC & law enforcement.

Getting calls from this number numerous times a day, even on Sunday a.m. at 8.  They don't even have the kindness of staying on the phone to tell you what they want.  I am changing my phone number and turning this number into the BBB and reporting it to the local authorities for this phone area code.  I heard that this does help and they track it from there.

The same thing just happened to me. When I called them back 3 times I was always 4th in line. When I was number 1 and was connected to a "customer service rep" I was told to leave a message. Every time they have called when you pick up they disconnect. If this is for Nissan, I don't own a Nissan! I blocked them thru my phone provider. Won't be hearing from them again.

They called me at least 12-15 times in the last two weeks. I finally decided to pick up and a drunk sounding lady comes on going "there you are". So I went; "hello"? She claimed to be from some auto warranty and since I never had a warranty on any of my cars and currently only own a 1964 classic car which I bought privately and am restoring right now I told her she had the wrong number. She insisted and said this was a recorded call and that she had the right number all right. So I hung up. What an idiot! She didn't even know my name - and luckily I didn't give it to her either.

I continue to get calls from this number even though I told them to take our number off their list. Now when I pick up the phone to talk to someone no one is there. When I try to call back to complain they state I'm number 4 in line then when I get to number 1 they disconnect me. Happened numerous times   I am going to call the  FCC. This is total harassment

Month or more have been getting these robo calls IDd as Auto Warranty to my CableOne-based 208-922-**** land line, never anyone on the line. It was a good reminder to register this number, which I got only in late July, with the do-not-call registry.

I'd say it's more likely a scam to get your CC info than an actual company providing an actual auto warranty product.

Just got one of those calls. The person I talked to was trying to sell me extended auto warranty yet my vehicles warranty is still effective when I told him that he kept saying I had the wrong info. Then when I refused their service I was told my vehicle would be red flagged. Just told him to do whatever he needed to do and hung up.

I got a call from this number repeatedly for two weeks.  Finally I answered and this jerk kept telling me that my warranty on my car is expiring an that I have to have an extended warranty.  I have an extended warranty with VW.  So he went on to say that I have to have it, it is the law.  He asked me for my credit card info so that he could put me on a plan.

I am so tired of harassment from telemarketers.  This sounded like a scam!!
