i have a blackberry bold 9700 and have downloaded an application called Mr. Callnumber Block. I have it set to block private and blocked calls and it will also block SMS text messages from these numbers as well. I have 28 numbers on my block list just with this company alone.

I keep getting calls from 02087599577 with no one on the phone and you cant call it back. I have blocked SMS as they kept leaving urgent message. How can it be stopped.  Is there a law to stop these bastards.

Caller Id comes across as Tele Europe....from # 1-240-389-6642...they are advertising medical insurance coverage for less than $3/day...if you want to speak w a rep hit 1....when asked numerous times to be taken  off their call list they hang up.  We are on a Do Not Call List...how do they get my number all the time?  They refuse to take my number off their list and alays hang up...

Report them (file a complaint) to the do not call registry if you are registered, the more of us that do it the better it will be.

These people are RELENTLESS! They even argued with my husband that I had asked them to call. They call several times a day.I've gotten to the point that I don't answer any phone calls with numbers I don't recognize because I know it could be them. They have to be stopped.

Feature Films has called me 5 times in one day, i don t answer because when you ask them to remove number they won't.
Second time I reported this. They keep calling from different area codes.

Dave and Brenda move around a lot.  I have found their name in 6 different area codes and numbers, with their names switched around for some diversity. When I have answered it has been Feature Films for Families which also uses FFF or Consumers Desk FF among other caller ID information.  I have requested to be removed from their calling list on numerous occasions but to no avail.  I am very frustrated.

Tell them that you are herby warning them to issue further communication via writing ONLY and that if they call you again they are breaking the telecommunications act and you will report them to the police.

Also make sure you tell them you record your calls for security purposes - even if your actually not.

But try recording them. This company will make your life hell if you let them.

Do your research and be in control. If your not comfortable doing this tell them what I said above and hang up. If they call you more than 3times in 1 day this is breaking the law.

Do your reserch search "The Consumer action group" on google, you can find all the laws and info put simply on there.

BEWARE, DON'T EVEN CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY/NAME TO THEM ON THE PHONE.

If its important, they already have your address and will write to you.

They also call from 231-732-2000, "Brenda and David"

Probably use others as well

Luckily I have a deep voice so when I said I was "The Woman" of the house, he hung up on me.

I answered and the male asked for me by first name. I said "take this number off your list please." He said, "No." I said, "No?" He said, "No, no, no." I said, "Alright, I'll have to report you, then." He said, "That's fine." We hung up.

Is there recourse for this? Anyone know?

I see many of you have ID'd Feature Films for Families. I asked them to stop calling a few years ago and they did.

This "David" has called three times and asks for "the lady of the house".  I am on the no call list, and would like him to stop calling.

I have asked them not to call me any more I called them and told them and I have emailed them and they called again and this time I hang up on them.BAck 2 months ago when was asking them to stop calling me and I was not intrested the guy hung up on me.

The caller asked for me by name and wanted to know if my order (which I never made) met my expectations. When asked who he was, he said he was calling on behalf of Feature Films for Families. When I asked for more information, he continued to ask for me, by name. When I continued to persist in asking for information, he wanted to call back later. I told him he would be smarter not to. This is the first time I answered a call from this number, but not the first time having it appear on caller ID.

Feature Films for Families product good quality films for small children the only problem I have is that they call you every six month to try to sell you something. Other than that they are a good company.

I got calls over the last 3 days from the following numbers associated with Feature Films for Familes: 201-257-4536, 201-257-4536,240-389-6688,410-774-8545,231-732-2175,505-247-1641,240-389-6688.

I Called Feature Films For Families customer service at 800-326-4598.  
I Spoke with Tara who said it?s their 20th anniversary and they are calling customers to make a special offer showing their appreciation.

I told her that I didn?t appreciate having to leave business meetings just to get a hang-up and then later finding out that it was a telemarketing call.  I said they shouldn?t treat customers like this and that they lost this customer.

I asked to be removed from their list and she said that she took care of it.

I also bought films from them when my kids were little (now in college) and they were excellent. I think the company was out of Utah. I just now got a call from them but didn't pick it up googled it and here I am.
The product they sell is worthy if your looking for g rated stuff for your kids

This is the fourth different number I've been called by from Feature Films For Families - all of these calls coming to my cellphone number, which is on the DoNotCall registry.

I just had the same call and googled it. I found this post on the number. After reading that it is feature family films, I just wanted to say one thing. I have purchased their dvd's and they are not to bad. At 1st they had bad sound, but now they are like watch any movie. My kids enjoy them, they are clean films on family values.  Yes no cussing or killing. They do use a auto recording device to ask you a few question then you will get a person. It's a good company.

This guy always calls at night from this number harassing my family. We've never bought ANYTHING from Family Feature Film, and will NEVER. He's rude, stupid and oh yeah, annoying!!! Every time we tell him not to call here, we've never bought anything from them, he gets rude and nasty! P-l-e-a-s-e make him stop calling. He's harassing us!!!

gentleman called. asked for me. it seemed that he was following a script of sorts. but, when i read this site it was crystal clear that it was a recording. he did the whole credit speech and such. we too are on the "do not call" list. yet another annoying solicitation...

My father lives in Connecticut and got a call on his home phone from a woman asking for my wife by her full name. The caller asked for her number. My father refused. He called me and passed on the name and number from his caller ID. I initially thiught it could be a friend from our military service. I checked google and found this useful and accurate web site.

i had a call from the same number, and they asked for my mothers name, but she has passed on, but what was weird about it is this guy sounded like he was playing a joke. when he asked when would be the best time to call back he was very energetic and loud, unlike most phone calls i get where they just ask politely and quietly and hang up.

Someone from 1-240-389-6688 called me today to tell me that this company had a credit for me. I told them I never ordered anything from their company and then I was told.... "oh, sorry, I know its been a long time".... I think this may have been a SCAM call. I hung up.
