I recently applied for a job with Kohl's and they use SNAGAJOB.Com and dummy me listed my cell number which now I am getting calls on my cell from Insurance recruiter.  I think SNAGAJOB is using personal information and selling it.

Got a call around lunchtime on my cell phone but no message left.  My auto insurance rate is already low as I have a good record, so I won't be needing their services in this lifetime.

Called my cell phone today and hung up without leaving a voice mail.

I actually just bought new car insurance yesterday and was at the DMV today so it was super weird when they called and said I was overpaying. Being skeptical, the first thing I asked "Lisa" was what company this was and then she just hung up on me. CLEARLY a scam.

Just got a call from them, no voice mail. SO ANNOYING

Robocall to sell car insurance - used the words "Maryland MVA"to try to sound official.

Literally just got 4 calls from them in a 2 minute span on my cell. Answered because it is a local area code. No sound at all on the other end, and one of the calls happened while I was still connected on the other line. Eventually decided to let calls go to voicemail, which they did not leave. Will be adding as a do not answer entry to my contacts.

Called my cell phone.  Clearly not a legitimate company.  Trying to sell auto insurance.  I asked who they represent, got a list of major companies.  Asked if they are an independent agent, didn't get a straight answer to that.  Asked the name of their company: Insurance Placement Center.

She kept asking if I wanted a quote today.  Eventually hung up as I kept asking questions.

Time for a call to the Maryland Attorney General and Insurance Administration ...

They called my cell phone and hung up on me when I asked to be put on do not call list.  I called this number back and asked to speak to a supervisor.  Got hung up on again--twice.  So disrespectful.  Finally spoke with "Joe" and quickly said, "Please don't hang up on me!"  He stayed on the line, listened to my complaint, and told me he was a floor supervisor and would talk to the girl who hung up on me (I'd only gotten one name).  Somehow I am not convinced I was taken seriously.  Must be their policy to just hang up when someone asks them to do something a legitimate company would do.  So what does that say?

stupid robocall on my personal cell.  only reasons I answered are:

A - I was at a client site and thought it was my boss.
B - Local area code.

Filed a complaint with the DNC.  Number has been on the DNC list since December 2009.

This call came in and I am on the do not call list

Robo call saying something about lowering car insurance payments. Unsolicited call, said to press 3 to be removed from list.  Only answered because it was a Local Area Code.  Filled a complaint with https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2  for all the good that ever does... But I disagree smarticus's 22 Aug 2013 comment...  Post here too and fill a complaint with DNC...   At least if it is posted here and other forums, we can see the scope of the problem and the data is not hidden in the Blackhole that is the DNC complaint department!

The gov't do not call list stopped being affective years ago! There are way too may robo calls being made for the gov't to even pretend to keep up!

When you receive these calls DO NOT PRESS ANY KEY THAT SAYS THEY WILL REMOVE YOU FROM THEIR LIST! All this does is confirm that the number is active and that a person has responded. You will either (a) keep getting calls from this number, (b) get calls from another robo number they generate, or (c) get calls from other outfits to whom they have sold your number, as a "verified" account.

The best thing you can do, since the Do Not Call List is a JOKE, as it cannot keep up with the technology these roboscammers are using, is to go get some type of call blocker device for your phone. Then your number starts showing up as "not in service" or "disconnected", and only that will stop these calls.

got several calls from this number trying to sell me a reduced insurance rate, Mary would not disclose how they got my cell phone number . wii resort to blocking this number , they will not take no for an answer !

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. No message left. VERY annoying. I just paid for that call in minutes.

This is such bs, they call my cell phone and don't even know my name....

Called me too, I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST and have been on it for many years now. I rarely get these kind of phone calls. They did not leave a message and I did not answer. Hopefully that will be they're only call.
