Keeps calling leaves no message ph # 248 220 8709 out of Birmingham MI

calls, leaves no message.

They are repeatedly calling my work. They will leave no voice mail.

Same problems here.  Numerous calls, no messages.  They are trying to locate a J. Reese.  I returned their call (number on caller ID) and told them there was no one by that name that lives here. After about a 20 minute argument of "you can't prove he doesn't live there" I gave them the number to my attorney.  I have not heard from them since.

Calls consistently 3 or 4 times a day

Ever since I got this cell number I have recieved calls about some dead beat named Nick. Assect Acceptance is the most persistant caller. This is a bussiness phone so when someone claiming to be a vendor and hung up in the middle of the conversation I called them back and learned thier ture nature.

I get harrassed from them all the time!! If you want to play along its pretty funny, When they ask a question turn around and ask them the same question. I did this about 45 min ago when they called I got the call from AACC 248-220-8708 it was some guy that was soooo rude so I just gave it right back and started asking him all of the personal questions he was asking me. I'm going to call them in a hour or so at the number they called me at. But only to mess with them... The calling them during a movie is a great idea waste there time, as they waste yours.

Received a call from the following number and caller. They left an automated message and directed us to push numbers according to the directions. The name was Laura James with Asset Acceptance. I received an earlier mail correspondance referencing an old cell phone account from the said firm. I contacted the cell phone provider and they stated the account was satisfied.

This agency keeps calling my number daily. When I answer the phone there is silence or they hang up. How do I report them, or stop them from calling. Is there a way to report them?

yeah they call me too... sometimes they leave a message other times they don't. they call my cell and my husband's cell... i have told my husband do not talk to them. they call different hours of the day. the first few hundred times they called-it was a live person leaving the message then she got rude and nasty on the voice mail, then someone else started calling and getting the auto dial. what do we need to do to shut these people down...

We received a call from this company as well.  They were requesting payment for a bill that was over 10 years old and for a bill that we never had to start with.  We have not ever received a bill for this amount requested.  Also this has never shown up on our credit report so how could they even have a paper trail for reporting?  I agree with all of the previous comments, pay this company no mind!  They are just looking for a quick buck sounds like to me from people that do not know any better!

THEY CALL SAYING THEY'RE A COLLECTION AGENCY AND IF YOU LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE YOUR ACCEPTING  THAT YOUR THAT PERSON. WELL I DON'T FEEL THIS IS LEGAL OR MORALLY CORRECT. I WILL BE PUT THEM ON THE BLOCK CALL LIST. THEY MUST BE SCHOLARS FROM IDOT SCHOOL TO THINK I'd NOT KNOW WHO AND WHY THEY WERE CALLING BUT I DON'T OWE NOTHING TO NOONE.

They call every single night! And when I answer, there is nothing but dead air, but when my husband answers they ask for me, and when he asks who's calling,they hang up....

These people are driving me crazy.....aacc....They need to get a life and to make sure they have the right phone #...I'm so sick and tired of them  calling every  week.They need to make sure they have the right phone #.Isn't there something we can do to stop them?

I didn't answer the call to my cell phone, then checked the voice mail. Now this was interesting....
A female voice is giving the buisiness hours...8am to 8pm
THEN...I hear a male voice say "Hey babe. Come here"

Got the same call, for months on end and still going on. I never answer it but the message is always the same with the same caller id info but once in a while the person they are asking for is different. This is very annoying and frustrating. I'm ready to cut my phone service!!

called husbands cell phone today, he told them about sol, they said no it hasn't, but it has.

Keep calling, don't leave message.  Dealt with this company in the past about a phone number that can only serve a NM residence servicing a TX residence; they are pretty stupid and refused to accept that their paperwork coflicts with itself.

called Thu, Sep 37th @ 4:44 PM PST.  This number called, rung once, then hung up.

Calls about 3 or 4 times a month using an automated caller. First few times I answered and chose option #4 saying that this person they are looking for does not exist at this number, but this only increases the number of times they call a month. Always looking for a J. Mendoza and states on the answering machine that if I continue to listen to the message I am acknowledging that I am this person. I am not this person and my number is unlisted. I am starting to save their messages on my answering machine for proof of their harassment. I hope some sort of legal action can be taken against this company for their unwarranted and continuous harassment and annoyance.

One can't be sure whether to pick up the phone since there are so many telemarkers pestering you.
Tonight AACC finally left a message around 7:30PM, once in the past I picked up and no one answered on the other end. So I just don't answer the phone and since I have an Unlisted phone number, how did they know where to reach me? I thought that NO ONE was allowed to give out Unlisted phone numbers, guess I am wrong.

1 call today, didn't know the #, didn't answer it...no message left.

Got a call from this number on my cell during a meeting.  I turned off the ring and ignored it.  I do that for all calls out of my area code that aren't identified by name.

Call all the time lately. Leave message about they are a collection agency.  The are calling for a name I have never heard before.  Do these agencies not look up who numbers are now registered to. Look up in the phone book for the person they are looking for.  Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who you are calling before you call.  HELLO!  Catch a clue!!

Got a call this morning from this number.  They asked for Sally Bruce, my maiden name.  My husband was handing the phone to me so I got there too late to hear all the message.  But he said that the person on the phone said if this is Sally Bruce, push a certain number, etc...  When I got the phone, the message said they would call again at a later time.
