My phone rings only once and stops, AACC and this phone number appear on caller ID.

Caller called me and left voice mail saying obscinities

THIS NUMBER KEEPS COMING UP ON MY CELL...

I got a call from this number 2 months ago...I usually don't pick up numbers I'm not familiar with...and they called me on my cell # too and I had barely got it 2 months prior to them calling...so then I googled this # and found this site...and today I got another call from them too...so I decided to call them back...and I let it ring and somebody actually picked up...and they asked for a Nicole something...and I'm for sure not Nicole...so I asked nicely to have them remove my cell # from their system...so lets see if that works!!!!  What a waste of my minutes on these IDIOTS!

these people call on claims that are unfounded, i have asked them for proof, yet nothing.  they calim its a bill from 1992, and they think i am just gonnna give them money without proof.

I do think it was a bill collctor!! Asst accptanc!!! I hate thm!

I got a missed call from Asset Acceptance and called back. They were looking for somebody named Jennifer. The "debt collector" sounded friendly and promised to took the number off from the list.

I reived this call and was told it was a collection agency I explained this was an old (Very OLd ) account she presisted that I should pay the amount due cause I owed it. I told her I lived in TX and it was not on my credit report and I did not own anything. I ask to be taken off call list she said no and told me again that I owed...I Hung up the phone..... whatever

I received a call Saturday, 6/14/08 at 9:25 am from AACC 248-220-8709.  I answered and they hung up.  What can be done to stop these calls?

They call my house almost everyday.  I don't answer it phone.  I want them to STOP CALLING me.

Yeah, I get the calls from AACC all the time. An old debt from 1995. It's 2008 now. That was 13 years ago. Isn't that out of the 7 year time line? I don't get it. Well, my cell is on vibrate all the time so I just don't answer. Got all thier numbers memorized. LOL!

My husband was significantly delinquent on several accounts but sat down and paid everything off about 1.5 years ago, with the companies we originally owed.  These guys started calling about six months ago.  Initially, we answered, and repeatedly asked where we could send the proof of pay off.  They dodged the question every time and threatened legal action.  :::shrug::: Let 'em.  He's got the paperwork.

My cellphone is a prepaid cellphone.Yet,I received many  calls on my cellphone from this number but did not answer it and they did not leave a voicemail. So I checked it in Google and it goes to a collection company called Asset Acceptance of Michigan!! I have no idea why they are calling me.

I have been getting calls from this number (AACC), debt collectors, for some James A Morgan and had told them over a year ago that there was no one by that name here.  They continued to call and leave messages.  I finally got fed up and called them up.  First time, some lady said that she has noted the account and hung up.  That pissed me off.  I called back and said that I am asking you not to hang up and hear me out.  I repeated what I said the first time and asked for a supervisor.  She started arguing and said that the previous time was the first time this was reported.  I added that if this continues, I am going to complain to the police.  She immediately added that she was going to do the same thing and hung up.

I received a call from this number but did not answer it and they did not leave a voicemail. I called it back and it didn't ring through or anything. Which means it's either a telemarketer or a bill collector. Both suck.

We have had this number call us for 3 years and every time it is a suspious woman asking for me. Every I tell here that I dont live there in the next 5 minutes she calls back and says the same thing. My advice just let it ring

So this number keeps calling because they think I owe them money?  I did some reasearch on them.  I don't even know what they think I owe for.  I just think they like to call my number and the only evidence that they called is listed on my caller ID.  It doesn't bother me.  I don't know why they are calling and don't care, because I don't owe them anything.  I can imagine that has to be the worst job in america.  I guess if you can't get a decent job, you've got to work somewhere.  Jobs are very raw these days.

THEY WERE GIVING HIM A BREAK.HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT IT. ALWAYS A PERFECT CREDIT. ALSO RETIRED FROM MOBIL OIL WITH 38 YEARS. HE IS 78 YEARS OLD. THIS HAS HIM SO UP SET THINKING HE OWES SOMEONE.THANK YOU

Finally, I was home when AACC called.  After telling them there was no 'William' at my number I advised them that I had been plagued by their missed calls with no message and that it was becoming an irritant.  I asked that they update their file since the person they want is not at my number and I am not someone they are looking for.  The CSR was friendly about it and said the note would be made.  Still too soon to see if they follow through.  Hope this helps alleviate someone else's irritation level  :)

We received a YET ANOTHER call from this number at 0820 in the morning on 20 Sept 2008.  They are a collection agency,looking for a "Scott Collins".  We have had this number for over a year and they still call it even though we have asked them to stop!  I report them EACH TIME to the DO NOT CALL website but apparently it does no good.

I had a call from this number at 6:00 PM on the day I activated a new cell phone number. I'd only had the phone turned on for three hours!

I keep getting calls from them for a Maria Snahez or something like that. I've told him many times I do not know who she is. Now I just don't even answer it. Stupid.

Asset Debt collection needs to stop calling me.  I've told them on numerous occassions that they keep calling me about a neighbor (that I have nothing to do with) on my phone number.  I will not and do not take calls or messages for him.  I'm tired of be harrassed about other people's debts!!!  I pay my bills and I'm on the DNC lists.  I should not be subjected to harrassing and annoying calls that use up my land line and cell phone minutes!
