Thanks for the info.  Received two calls from this number.  Bought serveral items from HH Gregg.

Really strange...it just called again and nomorobo blocked it then the phone immediately rang back and the caller ID said nomorobo with 608-371-6666.  I foolishly answered because it said nomorobo (I use them to block calls.)  It was someone asking about a TV that was supposedly bought at HHGREGG last year. I told them they must have the wrong number and hung up.  What's up with nomorobo simultaneously ringing back?

We just got a call from this number and nomorobo blocked it.  We've never even walked into an HHGregg, let alone bought anything from there.  I wonder if they number has changed hands or been spoofed now.

called my cell phone yesterday. didn't answer...I bought a refrigerator from hh gregg almost a year ago..they must be calling me to sell extended warranty policy

SCAM!  Said they were DTE and wanted to sell a warranty on our appliances we said we already have one but they could send us info thru the mail - They hung up!

I am just canceling my HHGregg credit card due to the continued calls.

They have called over 100 times. I contacted hhgregg and said I would no longer make any purchases from their store due to harassing communication. Get mad at hhgregg not just the marketing company.

They're called 4 times in last week, never say anything, I tell them it must be a wrong number and they hang up.

HHGregg.  The person bungled my last name and then asked about a TV I had bought from HHGregg.  I hung up before the person got any further.  I didn't happen to do this with this particular phone call but if there is a hesitation on the phone line when I pick it up (typically a person reading from a computer screen) I hang up.

Got a call today, as I have in the past months and I decided to call them back.  Had someone promise to take my name off list.  Am on DO Not call list national and in my state- guess that did not impress them.  Decided to call my local HHGregg store and let them know that all their hard work in building customers is being eroded by overzealous telemarketers.  It might help to let the Gregg stores know what is truly happening to their customers.  It is worth a try.

Got a call today, 6/8, at 9:14 AM, from "Not Available".  I answered, "Hello", and there was silence.  Hung up.  We have purchased a TV from HH Gregg last July.

Although the caller ID  indicates that the call is from AdvanceTele the call isn't really from HHGregg it is from a company that they pay to make pressure calls to customers that have previously purchased items.  We have actually asked them to remove our name and number from their calling list and although they are as you say friendly and say they will take care of it.  They continue to call us.  So our answer to the whole pile of deep dodo garbage is that we simply don't answer the telephone.  Eventually they wise up and get the idea.  Some people are quick to understand that when they don't get an answer from us "any" time of day they don't need to keep wasting their time.  Others however, I am not certain they will ever get the message.  Either way, we ARE NOT ANSWERING the calls. We don't deal with any sales pitches over the telephone.  If we wanted extended warranties on what we purchase, we would take care of it without prompting from anyone.  Go away Advance Tele/HHGregg.

HHGREGG for extended warranty

I just called the number and it was HH Gregg wanting to sell me something.  I asked for a manager and told him about the creepy voicemails and told him to take me off the list.  He was apologetic, said he'd take me off the call list, and that he'd look into the voicemails I'd received.

Last week I received a call from this number and was unable to answer.  The voicemail went on for a good bit, but it was just background noise...like I could hear the person breathing and other noises.  I received another call tonight and didn't make it to the phone in time.  This time there were breathing noises, sounds like gum chewing and then at the very end of the voicemail a male voice sings, "Baby don't leave."  Creepy.  If this is HH Gregg, then they need to brief their employees on professionalism.

HH Gregg wanting you to purchase extended warranty.  They will not shut up and take NO for an answer.

Got the same warranty call. When I asked to be removed from the call list, he responded almost like he was offended. "SO YOURE SURE YOU DONT WANT YOUR TV COVERED?" Like I pissed him off. Jerks.

it's hhgregg to extend your warranty on appliances purchased. I just did today and appreciate the call! I don't think they leave a message because they are trained not to.

Hey, Advance Tel!  Give it up already!  We do not intend to answer the telephone.  You are wasting your time and effort.  There is NO sale here.  If you think your calling bothers us you are wrong.  Phone rings, check caller ID, do not recognize caller info in caller ID, don't answer phone.  A few seconds of our time and we go back to what is important in life.  Your company gets to pay the phone company for that call and we don't pay a red cent for any of them.  Ha, Ha, Ha...

These idiots have  called everyday for the last 6 days.  Been here for every call but will never answer the phone.  We screen ALL calls coming in and if we do not recognize the caller we do not answer. They don't leave a message on the answering machine which indicates that their purpose for calling us has no value to us and that they are calling to put pressure on us to buy something.  According to the posts on this site they want us to extend our warranty on products we have purchased.  Not ever going to happen.  Hopefully after six days of calling and getting no response from us they will use the noodle the good Lord blessed them with and get the hint. Not interested and not going to happen.  They don't need the money since HHGregg is farming out the work to Advance Tel,  they have more money than they need.  Our theory is that if your call is so important then leave a message.  If the people want to talk to you or hear what you have to say, they will call you back.  If you don't leave the message, your not exactly they type of organization we want to deal with.  Be honest, forthright and most of all believe in what you are selling. Your actions so far don't display any such behavior.

got a call from this number. They left a message saying they were calling on behalf of HHGregg about a TV we bought last year.  I'm assuming they are trying to sell us an extended warranty. I didn't call back.

This number is an HHGregg marketing hotline, just call the number back and ask to be removed from their list!  They were friendly about it.  I was prepared for the opposite!

has called 2 days in a row. Yesterday 4:26pm Today 11:05am Have not answered. Will probably answer nest time and tell them I'm not inerested.

Got call from this # today at 11AM. I purchased washer/dryer from HHGregg last year and warrantees are now up. Both machines running fine! No msg left by caller.
