Same thing happened to me - shown as blocked number then voicemail came through. Said his name was Steve, told me to call a number that was different from number that showed through in the vociemail id. Glad I looked it up. I'm also in Michigan Works, wouldn't be surprised if that's where they got the number.

I just got the very same call from Steve, they don't even change their song and dance! I went on line and searched the phone number - nothing. So I " *67'ed " my own number and called the "appointment" number left in the message (248-743-9311). It finally answered saying that it was Shoreling Financial Services.

They had to have gotten my number from Michigan Works, I haven't posted it through anyone else. You'd think Michigan Works wouls havea little BETTER security!

My phone blocked the 248-743-39311 number the first time they called (as an 'unknown' number ), but the did leave their classic message.They/it called right back with the 248-714-9037 number and left their stupid message. I was pretty excited at first... until I researded them

Lots of  luck to all of us!!!!!

Got a call from this person/company on my home phone, which I only put on my resume that was submitted to one specific place, MiWorks for Michigan Unemployment.

My brother in law was "wooed" by this company a while back. It is a type of "pyramid" scheme, but different.

This did seem odd.  No ring, just voicemail from good ol' scamster Steve.  Around 9am.  He sounded like he was in a lounge chair chugging a beer.   Get a life, Steve, and leave the rest of the world alone.

I remember hearing about this company on Detroit Fox 2.   When I received a voicemail, it rang a bell in my head.  I instantly went to the internet, and began a search...and found this.   No way will I call these people.  I

Same thing..just now..no ring just voicemail. Seemed suspicious because they didn't leave a company name. Just that alone was enough for me to google it before I called back...I'm glad I did! Thanks everyone!

I got called by this company and wanted to report them. This is fake, and I do not want them to prey on anyone else.

If you're so proud of your company, why not LEAVE THE NAME IN THE VOICEMAIL?  Quit hiding, go to Nigeria and find the rest of the scammers to hire.

Same thing, phone never rang, just got a voicemail from a Kae Schorling (google searched the phone number) saying their company is expanding and they'd like to talk to me about an opportunity for a work position.  Didn't have the decency to let my phone ring and talk to me like a human being?  Why would I want to work for them?!

I got the same call today.  My resume is posted on Monster.  This is the third time someone from PRI has called me in the past 2 months and none of them will reveal their company.  If they are so proud of such a legitimate organization, why do they hide it?  I had one guy tell me he owned an "asset management company" and never told me the name after asking many time.  Another guy finally, and very reluctantly, confessed he was with PRI when I asked him directly - and he sounded embarrassed.  If you're so proud of PRI, Kae and Steve, then be upfront about it.  Quit trying to lure people into your cattle call training program with deceptive tactics.

I also got a call today from Kay Shorelane number was 248-743-9311 and she said my resume came to her desk and that her company was expanding but she never said what company. Their is no way they can be that desperate for all these employees in this economy. And their is no way they can use the same message for such a long time and towards everyone so conclusion is that this is a scam! Its sad they have to scam people when everyone is struggling to find a job and many are losing their homes or are already homeless. But unfortunately their is a lot of greedy people in this world who will do anything for money.

Just **magically"** received a voicemail from "Steve" looking to fill part-time and full-time positions.  That's funny ~~  my phone never rang... hmmmmmmmm.  He never identified who he represented or where he was calling from which is the first big clue that this is a voicemail that should be deleted and never given another thought.  Apparently this is a call from the Primerica people.  Ughhhhhh.  Are they still trying to recruit?????   I thought the SEC shut them down.  I attended a Primerica seminar when I first graduated from college a number of years ago.  Creepy people and an ambiguous and somewhat secretive process for conducting business ~~  they are the Church of Scientology of the financial services industry.

Just go to this site and make your own decision.  There are different careers and jobs for everyone.  Thats what makes the world go round.  Don't make decisions for other people and dont let other people make decisions for you.  Primerica will continue to do whats right, no matter what anyone negative has to say.  Heres an article to read:

Again make your own decision.

Christine ...you must work at this Primerica company along with Steve and Kae Schorling... I recieved the same call...except I answered The Call..offering a Management Position, Full Time , Helping Middle Income Families...yes the company was expanding and they had my resume. I always google phone numbers about jobs especially when they don't want to disclose the name of the company.   If this info isn't true why are so many people reporting the same thing? Thanks to the fellow unemployed  people who also thought they had a job!!! Yes your listed with NYSE..so what..that doesn't discount what you do!!

Hi, just received this call as well, couriously wanting to know why I got no company I started searching the internte. I did however receive a call back and they said they have a seminar on Tuesday evening at 7pm at this location: 631 E Big Beaver, ste 201. They are located near Bahama Breeze in Troy. Now that I saw this post I am not going to this seminar cause I think this is a scam. I never sent them my resume which is what made me investigate in the first place.

About 5 years ago I knew about 20 guys who were all "going to get rich" working for Primerica.  They all boasted at length about "the possibilities" and how their lives would be "in a few years".  But after about a year, even the top guy, the one with the most sales, and the guy with the most people under him, still was making almost zero money.  None of these guys were seeing a penny.  Since the "top guy" had no money and went on to get an $8/hr. job selling workout equipment, everyone else stopped working for Primerica too.

I got a call today from Kae and Steve (248-743-9311), which is how I found this post.

Actually, Christine, you can't even spell your own name, so how bright are you. "Lazy bloggers", and Christine, anyone and any company real or unreal can scam people.  It's not always the company itself, but some of the employees that have access to the technology and criminal minds that prey on others. Reporting these companies or people to the agencies listed earlier will do little or no good, and they are quite aware of that.  The best alternative is to contact action news stations and to present all the facts without the emotions. Bringing it out in the light will help. Contacting the Federal Government Internet/Phone Fraud Division may be of some assistance as well. It also helps that this has happened to several people.
My brother is a federal attorney and I have brought this to his attention. Keep an eye on your local news?
But realistically, as long as there are people on the planet, this type of thing will always happen.

before judging anything, go to the meeting, listen, THINK, research, and talk to the people....talk to those who make more money than you....get out of your comfort zone......being an employee most of the time makes you miserable. get out of your comfort zone and learn something new.
