Same story as all the rest of these posts, which I notice date back to 2010! This is a rather pathetic setup, which I fell for, and it sounds like many have.  They just keep calling and calling, never leaving a message, but I have caller ID. Next time I'll pick up the phone and tell them where they can shove my 'free' gift....don't fall for this scum scam!

Almost took a job with them today.. Was super excited at the job opportunity as they were paying quite a high salary and I have been looking for work for a while. It was kind of weird though because I have no sales experience and wasn't expecting to get the job, but went to the interview last minute anyways. It all sounded a little too good to be true. I was under the impression I would be visiting people that were interested in the product. My mom suggested I check them out online first and OMG! All I can find is reports like these and and F rating by the BBB! So glad I did! I would have been very ashamed to have been a part of this! I feel very bad for anyone who has been suckered or annoyed by these people and the sales people that had no idea what they were signing up for! the job search continues..

I worked with this company, they sucked me into the job just like they suck people into an in home demonstration. Unfortunately I was young and stupid and it was the most terrible job I have ever had (and I've done downtown graveyard shifts at sevy). My supervisor made me cry on numerous occasions if I wasn't selling their product. If you speak with a representative of this company tell them they can do better than that job and don't let them in your house unless you want a crappy vacuum or are too baked to care and want a friend for several hours.

A young woman came to my door on May 18. She said she was from Victoria doing air quality survey. Asked 3 questions then told me about the prize. Why canvas this city in the BC  interior from Victoria?  Got phone call yesterday and one today, approx. same time of day. Am not answering their calls. They said no telemarketers when I gave them my phone number. They are calling from 778-432-2155. I never expected to win a prize anyways and would certainly not allow anyone in my house for demo of anything.

Did the survey, got the call today that I had won a daily prize...
They insist that someone has to drop the prize off in person, and that my spouse and I both be home - for the 'secuity and safety' of their staff... Right...
So, I told them it was too much of a hassle for us to schedule a time when we'll both be home.

Me - No worries man, your soft hands show youve never earned a calus or probably had to work a full day in the dirt. Honest labour leaves a guilt free life. You do what you do, id rather live guilt free.
Me - Working in a shelter you get to see what happens to the little old ladies who get scammed, its not worth the suffering for me to do that to someone

Im not quite sure why you guys are freaking. They tell you EXACTLY whats going to happen when you get the phone call. They tell you to come to your home, plug in the system and tell you about it. If you make the appointment, YOUR responsible for those guys showing up!! Calling the BBB or the RCMP will do diddly squat by the way because your knowingly giving out YOUR information ON YOUR OWN. They are different from other companies because most don't even tell you what they are going to so when they show up. Ive heard of WAY more people completely happy with their purchases than you, who are a little butt hurt, because you were stupid enough to give out your information. Figured it out people. You sound like a bunch of idiots!

A man came to my door.  I heard him talking to himself and watched him through the peephole.  He eventually rang the doorbell and I answered...big mistake.  He as me to do the survey then asked if he could come in for a moment he was cold.  I said no and closed the door.  Had a really bad feeling about him.  I wish I had never given them my number.  They call my home 5 and 6 times a day.  

Attractive young girl knocked on the door - raining outside so I invited her to step in. Suppertime, baby at the table and a puppy chewing shoes, so I was distracted - normally I'd ask who she's working for, why, etc., etc.  Feeling mad I gave her phone and address and am just waiting for the nonsense to start.  I much appreciate the heads up from this forum - they will be getting the bums rush from me. It seems I have to be wary of 250 380 0229 and 778 785 4259

I got the air cleaner and vacuum with a contract/agreement to pay by March 4 2014 yet they are appearing on my door now at 9PM at night. They make appointments and don't show up but now they want to appear at my house when ever they want repeatedly. What would you do???
In other words I own the products but they have no money yet. Started with the 3 question survey, then they would not leave me alone. Took a few tries to follow thru with being at my house. I hate missed and late appointments. Now that I have the cleaners in my home they won't leave me alone, keep arriving at my door step and wanting to discuss the arrangements.
So somehow I have $3000 dollars of supposedly  worth of suck power and don't know what to do???

You should also add the phone number 1-778-432-2155 for advanced air supply, based out of Victoria (or so they say). I agree with previous posts in that the door-to-door surveyor's 3-question survey on air quality is relatively "innocent" and all too easily lulls one into a false sense of "this ain't too bad".  And my daily draw prize, as per the phone call tonight????? A donation to the BC Cildren's Hospital and a stuffed bear for me.  I bet.  Thanks for the heads up to everyone, I won't be letting them in my door when they come knocking with the prize (since they have to hand deliver the bear, apparently, and they can't/won't send it to BC Children's hospital on my behalf) and demo.

i got a scratch winner in the mail and what do you know i win 10,000$ too good to be true, so i called only to find out they wanted my name phone and address to come over and to do a demo of their product in order to get the prize. i did some researching in the BBB and found that they weren't seen as a qualified business!

Lordy, these folks keep calling me even though I said I don't want any prizes...lesson learned: do not participate in surveys of any kind -- even when it appears to be a nice student, quizzing me while I was in the garden. Next step: let's get the word out to move AAS out of town!

Had this happen to me tonight .. Said they were stoping by at 830 to give me my prize .. I called them back and said I wasn't comfortable with this and they hung up on me .. Called my husband and we called the cops who called them and told them not to bother coming to our house or thy will arrest them for trespassing !! Wish I read this first

My call was from 778-432-2155 but everything else is exactly the same.
I went through the same survey, phone calls for an demo, promise of a few night free hotel, (I do a lot of travelling so it sounded good). But thanks to you all I have saved myself from a boring evening with a vacuum cleaner and listening to a struggling student trying to make money the hard way.
I called Rachel back, thanked here for her calls and info, (after-all the girl is only trying to make a living like the rest of us), cancelled my pending app and suggest she find another job with a more reputable company.  She thanked me and wished me a good evening.  
Will wait and see if I get any more calls.

Slap Chop?????    Never heard that term before.......

Just got a call from these people.. why I didn't bother researching after the guy came to do the survey I have no idea. Anyways, the woman offered me a slap chop or a hotel voucher.. as a mom I figured I needed a vacation more than a slap chop. Anyways, after she verified my address she wanted to verify that I was the home owner.. which I am not, so I told her I'm renting. She immidatly changed her chipper sales pitch attitude and said "oh sorry, this is only for home owners. Bye" wow. Ok. Hoping that it gets me off their calling list ;)  since the prizes are only available to home owners maybe some of you should try telling them you dont own the home.. just might stop the harassment.

They are in Nanaimo now. I had a young kid that ask me three questions last week. Today I get a phone call telling me  I won a prize. I said great as long as you aren't coming over to try to sell me a vacuum cleaner. She ask me if I ever had a filter queen demonstration I said yes. I prefer getting a prostate exam. She hung up.
I went through the same crap as these poor salespeople. In 1989 I got conned into selling Kirbys. Same sort of scam. Offering the people a free gift and then trying to sell them a $1500 machine. Kirby was a good machine but only worth more than 400 max. I remember the last time door to door visit I took the gift and smashed it in front of my supervisor and told them this is embarrassing and I quit!

We were told we would be given a prize of a hotel vacation for 2 nights and it included BC and California locations if we spent 1 hr listening to a sales pitch.  Advanced Air Supply rep came not for Air Filter but selling a Filter Queen vacuum.  The prize ending up being pay $50 and we will tell you what hotel you get for your 2 nights vacation.
SCAM!!  Wasting your time and theirs.

A guy named Jason Raynor came to my house for a demo lmao! What a piece of low life crap this try hard vacuum salesman, he was smelled like stale booze and hot garbage! Long story short I kicked his azz to the curb In 10 mins! Noobs

i worked for this company and they were complete liars and thieves. please ignore this company for your own good. i hope jake douglass realizes one day this isn't the way to get through life. bad karma his way.

I was seriously considering buying one of your air filters and vacuums until I read your responses to comments. Your lack of professionalism has made that decision very easy for me. If this is the way you respond to people you a. Don?t deserve my hard earned money and b. Makes it really hard for me trust you business ethics and true quality of product. I guess Dyson it is.

I understand exactly how you must feel. I'm not exactly a minor, but still a young adult woman living alone in my home. The salesman that came to my door was too friendly. Professional people that are selling stuff to a customer should not be that friendly (like asking out of the blue if they can come by your house and hang out in it with you or help you do your yard work). The guy I had was a little too friendly too fast. Didn't like it and felt like the guy was a little sketchy under the clean shirt and tie. Didn't feel comfortable with him at all and I don't want him showing up at my door again because he's bored.

Hi everyone, so I'm really creeped out. Today a man by the name of Calvin came to my house asking if I would do a brief survey. I thought nothing of it and agree, he asked me three questions. Then asked if I was home owner, I replied by saying "no, it's my fathers house. He is away on vacation". He then asked if there was anything going on in fernie for may long, and if I knew any good bars or clubs. As I am under aged I replied by saying "I'm not sure". He asked for my name and number for a $500 draw for a shopping spree. I gave him the info, he left and I forgot about the whole thing, until later that night I get a text message from the man asking if I wanted to hangout. He said he was bored and lonely, and thought I was a cool girl. He became very inappropriate. Thinking back to all the information I have him, he knows where I live, that I am home alone, my number. Scared I called a friend and we examined the draw card he gave me, it had little to no information on it, no company information. Barely even a company name. All young people! Be ware of these survey people. I'm very frightened, and am going to the police tomorrow because of it.
