I got a call twice, first didn't answer, then I answered about a week later (today)... I have barely been out of school six months... I wish universities would learn that donations won't happen right after graduation, most graduates are broke and with the economy the way it is some don't even have jobs... also why in the hell would I donate to an undergraduate program or scholarship when I only attended for a graduate program...

yes... it seems to be ECU calling alumni... but how did they get my cell phone number when I never gave it to them?
They wanted a $100 donation for scholarship funds...

ECU - they say they want to verify your Alumni info, but they want a donation for Alumni scholarship, etc.

Ashley is right, John. It is ECU calling alumni. I called back and got a message that they were attempting to 'Keep In touch' with Alumni. My guess is to solicit donations. But, that's just me being cynical. Your response was just you being an a$$. Present an argument to back up your position before dumping on someone who, in this case, was clearly more intelligient than you.
