I RECEIVED THE SAME CALL WHILE AT WORK THEY TOLD ME I HAP 3 COMPLAINTS AGAINST ME AND I I DONT GO TO WALGREENS AND PUT MONEY ON A MONEY CARD I WILL BE ARRESTED IN THE NEXT 45 MINUTES I GOT VERY UPSET AN ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK I WAS SO FRIGHTENED I CONTACTED THE POLICE AS WELL AS A PROBATION OFFICER I KNOW THEY ALL SAID IT WAS A SCAM DONOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR TIME THEY ARE FULL OF S*** ESPECIALLY LEO FERNANDEZ THE SO CALLED INDIAN LAWYER. THEY WOULDNT GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION SO DONT BE SCARED IF U RECEIVE THEIR CALL

I got a call from this number his name he is using now is Robin Miller watch out for these scammers he said in heavy indian accent this is robin miller calling from some federal blah blah blah and if i don't return this he can only wish me good luck and the situation badly impulsed on me ... then nicely says thank you goodbye  ughh never again doing any sensitive info online it also says KENT WA on caller ID I'm going to change my home number tomm

Got calls from two different numbers from "Joe McCoy, attorney at law" threatening me with arrest if I don't pay a debt. First call today from 253-216-6983, left a message saying there were 2 warrants out for my arrest for cyber fraud and money laundering. When I called back, "Joe McCoy", with a thick Indian accent, was very rude and could not explain who filed these charges against me. He wanted my attorney's phone number and I said I didn't have one. His response was "well, you better get one soon or you will go to jail". I called the local sheriff's office and they put me through to the FBI who explained it is called a phantom debt collection scam. I also called my local police and they said at this time there is nothing they can do except take an information report. I got another call from "Joe McCoy" this afternoon again threatening me. I told him I reported his number and name to the FBI and they are looking into his activity. Then he really got nasty and the wanted the agent's name and number. I told him I was not going to give him that information because he is under investigation for fraud and scamming people out of money. He then told me I was the "bi*** scamming his clients" in Madagascar, India, not America. So I told him to go ahead and arrest me, I could use the free meals in jail and hung up. My local police did tell me they do not issue warrants for uncollected debts. I plan on calling the local news station as well.

Yes, I too received a call from 253-220-0216 claiming that there will an arrest warrant for my arrest for criminal complaints against me.  I ask him which office is this, and he said is John McCoy office and that I used my company as reference, but he would not give me a name where the office is at and what compnay is it.  An Indian accent man was calling and called again after I never call them back within a minute.  These people needs to be strike by lighting, no jail.

I just received a call from these people saying that I had an warrent for my arrest from the fbi saying I owe 8000 dollors.

I received a call from Officer Steve Matthews with a heavy Indian accent.  I applied for a payday loan and never received it.  He said I needed an attorney and he had a warrant for my arrest.  Scammers, it's ridiculous!

Same scenario as the above messages. I di dreport this to the FBI but they were not sure yet if they could do anything.

I also applied for an on-line pay day loan and never received it. Began receiving calls immediately from this number.  When I pushed to know who they were I was hung up on. After repeated calls to the number and no one picking up the line.

I did report this to the FBI, they were not sure if they could take any action.

got a call from a mr mathis stating he was from the crime investigations unit. He said he had 3 federal warrents for my arrest unless I send him some money. He wanted my attorney information. I then told him I had turned him over to my attorney and the state police. He then hung up.

I received several calls from this individual. He was finally brave enough to leave a voice mail stating that either myself or my attorney call. Therefore I called pretending to be a different person stating I was "blah blah blah's" attorney, when I said that he immediately became nervous and told me to have the actual person call him back. I unblocked my number and called and I keep getting hung up on. Saturday I got calls from a 202-470-5006 phone number whom are a separate set of scammers or maybe one in the same. Those individuals state they are giving you a govt grant worth 7000 but you must donate 320 dollars to charity. They will not tell you the name of the charity nor will they tell you anything more. They immediately called back threatening with profanities and death. Stay away from these people and report them. DO NOT GIVE INTO THEIR WANTS. When I told them I was contacting the FBI, they became extremely angry and verbally abusive. If they have your info make sure to contact all credit bureaus and let them know so your account can be flagged. Also contact your bank and inform them as well.

I had received a call from this 2532200216 number from a man claiming to have been
John McCoy. Now I personally believe that whom ever they are, are collecting personal info from online pre-loan applications such as 9needcashnow.com. these sites actually take your personal info and attempt to locate a suitable lender that also does online loaning applications. My theory is that in the event that this scam of a company were to create a site that were to be set up as an online lender they would receive the information. I had never recieved these types of calls until I applied for the loan and I currently receive multiple calls a day from "lenders" wanting to complete my loan. My personal recommendation would be if you have experience the same and/or similar please post it or report it.

This is the second strange call I have received threatening criminal action or financial misconduct. The caller has a thick accent and claims to be from the Federal Crime Bureau and he wants my attorney's name. I had a hard time not laughing at him as I googled the phone number which was from a Kent WA area code...........he says he is from upstate New York.
I shut down the call rather quickly as he was calling my office phone and I was working.

The Indian accented gentleman called stating I had a federal case that a warrant was going to be issued and to call back the same number he was calling from. Said his name was STEVE MATTHEWS. When I asked Indian accented Steve Matthews how he got that name from India he said he didn't know what I was talking about and that he was calling from Washington D.C. I then asked him why he gave me the number to call if it was the same number he was calling, he said I had to ask for someone different. I think this is bull, I'm not a criminal, but someone's got my information.

So I called these guys back.... a new Indian guy answered I asked for all the names that I've seen provided in several links about this kind of call.  All of a sudden, none of those people work there... Steve Matthews, Leo Fernandez or John McCoy.  Hmmmm, I wonder.  Then I said, "That's not the name of the Indians you have working over there?  Saying you're from Washington D.C. and really calling from Kent, Washington"  He promptly hung up.  

IT'S A SCAM, DON'T LET THEM SCARE YOU.  Not too much they can do with your information right now.  Just keep an eye on your credit report and bank accounts.

Yea he told me that he was going to go to my job with the police, and when I told him that I hadnt recieved any money he said "well just talk to the officers" and hung up.

i just got a call from yhis person saying that i owed 475 and that if i didnt pay i was going to be arrested! I ask what for and he gave me this story! I had it figured out from the start and called him a scam artist and he took a deep breath and hung up on me. Where would he get my phone and SS#? Who should I contact about this?

these indian scammers called my cell phone they said i have a crime againest me . i called them back to ask for a john mccoy the india guy started cusing at me . i hung up. i really want these SOB caught and put away for a long time. the number was 253-220-0216.

Recieved a call from 253-220-0216   says it is loacted in  Kent Washington , The person who called had  a heavy indian  or  something  like that accent  said  his name  was  Officer Steve Matthews  and  it  was regarding  a payday loan  that  my son  had  gotten  so  he  says   I explained to him or tried that  my son  does not have any payday loans and  that it  can be evrified  at  his bank  This  Steve Matthews got  mad  and  threatened that  he  would be arrested   and  other  threats   I  told him it  can  all be verified  by  bank  statements  that  there was no loan   He also would not give  any imformation  I have also looked  for this company and it  doesn't seem to exhist   I also think that this  guy and  another   guy  are  pulling  scams  to people  his name  he  says  is  Shawn Marks  and his number  or one of  is  973-805-1068    I also  think that there  is a scam  with a company  called ACS which doesn't exhist  either  legitiamtely   they are  sending e mails  saying people owe  for  payday loans  and I think they are all in this together   SO BEWARE  any one  unfortuantluy with an  indian accent  I do not believe  due  to the  scamming  there are some other  companies  also scamming people

This guy did the same to me so I called the police and the local news station. Theres an investigation going on right now. He called back and left a really nasty message on my answering machine which the police recorded. He WILL be caught soon:)

Recieved a call from this phone number today on my cell while at work, it was a man who said his name was leo fernandez and he said he was the chief attorney for the Federal Crime Investigation, he proceeded to explain to me that he represents a debtor company that had tried to collect debt and was unsucessful and that they were pressing charges against me and that i had 3 criminal complaints against me and that if i did not go to a local walmart and do a money pak for almost 1000 dollars and call him with the numberrs for the transfer that state police would b at my place of employment to arrest me within 45 mins, he knew where i worked, the last 4 of my social number, i was in a panic, ibut it seemed fishy, I contacted the state police and he assured me it was a scam, i contacted this leo back and he hung up on me after telling me to no longer call that number that he would b calling 911 to issue the warrant, i called again asking him if he wanted the name and number to contact the trooper i talked to and all he said was that he already contacted the police and not to call again and hung up again.

This a**hole called me four times today. Once I told him that I was on to him,. he hung up. He calls again, and asks to speak with my husband. I tell him that I am not married and he answers that the reason I am not married is that I am a smarta** bi***, no one will touch me. And then he states that he will touch me and f**k me.  I call him a MF and told him to stop bothering me. He calls again, my mom answers the phone, he asks for me, mom says talk to me . He asks my mom (she is 82) if she is a old woman and does she still have sex. Well, mom read him the riot act and matches his expletives with a few of her own. I contacted the Tucson Police Department and they started a file on this person. If he calls back I have to write down the date, time, and what he said.  I had asked to speak to his supervisor, he says sure and then comes back on the line, trying to disguise his accent, I told him that i knew it was him.

I just got a call from "steve mathews'. When I told him I contacted the better business bureau he hung up

I keep getting calls from and "Officer Steve Matthews". When I called back he said he could not give me any information on what I am being sued for or why I would be arrested. He said I could contact the federal attorney and gave me the same number he called me from. I then called my attorney who told me that this "Financial Crime Investigation Department" that the guy is calling from does not even exist. What is scary is they have all my information.

Man with a thick accent naming himself "Professor Steve Matthews" called and said I have a warrants that will be issued today.  I have no warrants to my name.  Tried repeatedly to call the number back, but kept getting hung up on.  They also have my SS#, and know where I live.

I keep getting calls for one of our employees at work.  They demand that I let them talk to him or they will issue an arest warrant.  I told them to bring it in in person otherwise I have their phone number and I will report them for harassment and to NOT CALL HERE AGAIN.  We'll see if that works, I doubt it.

I was actually at the bank when this guy called he had all my Info ssn addy dob bank account number and routing number and then said I got all your money and right there in the bank I was told to have a seat and wait my turn to talk to customer service

received all call from a man with a thick accent. He called himself " Officer Steve Matthews" saying that i would be arrested if i did not return his call. what pissed me off the most was that he had all be personal info from my sss to my address. Being cautious since their was a high possibility that my identity could be stolen,  I called the the sss department but they could not help me till my identity was stolen and gave me numbers to call like the identity theft hotline and  a number to the credit bureau's to have my account flagged for fraud. You would think that these people would have better things to do.

I have also gotten calls from this number claiming that there is three criminal complaints against me and my SS#.  They told me if I didn't pay them I would be arrested. In fact as I am writing this they have called me and started arguing with me when I told him he was a scam that if I called him again he was going to press charges against me.  He asked me how I got his number? I said you just called me.

Mr. Jack Marshall called my job and told my coworker that they had a arrest warrant out for me. She txt me and told me. As soon as I got home I started to look up active warrants in my name. I know I have a criminal record but nothing major. I told myself if I did have a warrant I would be in jail now. I hope who ever's doing this gets arrested.
