Calls our business almost every day, but doesn't leave a message.  We're located in southern Ontario.

Caller was mad I would not take a survey. Called my business cell phone several times. Demanded to rape my underage daughter if I did not do the Google Listings survey. Government, FTC, FCC, and FTT need to shutdown these dumb telemarketers. They need to die in a slow painful burning death raped with melted plastic phones in their orifices.. We can not even run a business anymore with over 10 of these calls from all different numbers of the day. They call from Florida, California.,.. Ignorant people with no life.

These SOB's are blowing up my phone none stop today! They let the phone ring over 13 times then call again doing the same thing. I will not answer as this would give them a LIVE number response for them to sell to another telescammer.

Why are these Robo-calls being allowed when they have been deemed illegal. Why do we bother reporting them when they are allowed to continue. Do we as citizens need to take matters in are on hands? Do we begin finding whom they are and begin harassing them at home and work. I'm sure if we did that we would be tossed in jail. Something has to be done here!

roboscammer starts out "our records show"...google....not updated.  So I press 1 to waste their time.  (Pressing 2 does not help get you removed from their list).  Well, whomever I was connected to just put the phone on the desk and walked away.  So I listen.  In the background I hear 5 or 6 scammers going thru their lies....really?  people still fall for this?  One scammerlady in particular was close to the dropped phone.  Oh, she sounded so concerned.  "lets do a general search".... oh my....ability to find your company...oh my I don't see you.  Oh my, I see blah blah blah, she goes on to list other companies.  Oh, you really need some "key words"....reads another list of findings.....wait til that sucker gets their bill!!!!

Its never ending.  On my BUSINESS land line, i get 20 of these a day.  I use Phone Tray software to block them.  (phone STILL rings once till the computer blocks it) But for every number i block, 2 more appear.  I have HUNDREDS blocked over the last year.

No, they can't search your computer for personal information, especially not your phone number.

Illegal phishing call claiming to be from google (though it isnt).

Caller I.D. says LOCAL RANK RPT. I knew this was a junk call from the area code and Caller I.D. so I unplugged my ans machine and lit it ring.  It rang over 30 times.   Juvenile of me but very satisfying.

Google Scam. Don't press 1  OR 9. Just hang up. If you can, have the number blocked and report it.

if the caller is using the name GOOGLE, making numorous calls, why the real Google is not taking any action. May be they are getting indirect advantage from these telemarketer,known as google subsudiary.

Google sends me mail when they have offers or updates, I doubt Google would call unrelentingly. I never answer the phone so they can call all they want. I love this service provided here you all are very helpful and some are very humerous (sp)  as well.

Good for you!  I love your approach.  This number called me twice last Wednesday.  My business number goes to my mobile phone, so I get tons of weird calls.  I almost never pick them up, but maybe I will if I'm bored, just to mess with them.  :)

It isn't Google calling.  I am the executive director of a regional nonprofit and Google is one of our corporate sponsors.  I reached a telemarketer at one of these numbers by pressing 1.  HIs name was Steve and he started out telling me that they were Google.  I told him that Google was one of our corporate sponsors and we call them on a regular basis, and none of the numbers his company has used to reach me belonged to Google.  Unexpectedly he was very courteous, he apologized, spoke briefly to me and hung up.  They still call several times a day and always the same response, "Press 1 to update your listing or press 2 to be removed from our call list".  (not verbatim)  I do not know who they are but I do know for a fact that they are not Google and have no association with them.  I believe they have someone working there who is certifiec by Google in AdSense and that appears to be what they are actually trying to sell.

If you get a call from this telemarketer, please file a complaint with the FCC and FTC: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. If they receive enough complaints, they'll investigate. In addition, they send information on how to file a lawsuit. Recently, they shut down five of these scams.

Got a call from the the same number. I pressed one and a guy that was very rude to me got on the other end selling me on higher google placement. I knew that it was a scam but humored him for about 20 min until he got frustrated with me and violently hung up.   HA!

Hopefully I just saved 2-3 business owners the possibility of being scammed today.

This number, (and many others), keep calling my business with what are obviously "scam" offers.  Thanks to these low-life pieces of trash, I now do not answer my business or home phone if I don't recognize a number.  I do the same for numbers that come up "Private Caller".  If it's a legitimate call, they'll just leave a message.  I have received calls from this number before and I see it now displays a name of "Local Brand", which I doubt is a legitimate company.  Blocking these calls is a waste of time as they'll just spoof another number to call you.

I receive this call several times a week.  They never leave a message and do not answer if I call back.  I have put them on my "blocked call" list with Verizon, but they still get through.

Got a call from 253 236 2150 and no voice mail was left.
I called back and got a voice mail that it was the opt out number as required by the fcc and asked for some information from me. Thanks for your website.
