Have had repeated calls.  A man's voice on the line, but apparently conversing with someone else in the call center, from the background sounds heard.  Will simply block the number.

Took 75 seconds (according to the timer on my phone) for someone to speak after I said hello. (Slow day at the office!) They wanted to speak with 'the owner of the establishment'. Another number on the blocked call list.

The phone number I am receiving calls from is 253-246-8554. It is the same co-ordinates, located in Kent, Washington. I am getting same thing as others - I answer, they hang up. I did get a response the first time I answered, they said I was entitled to a VA mortgage at a really good rate - not only am I not a veteran, I am not even American! Since that first call, during which I yelled at them to shut up, (they wouldn't stop talking to let me explain), they have called me multiple times every day. I have called them back, and there is a recorded message which says "You have received a marketing call from a third party company. If you no longer wish to receive these calls, please press 1 to be placed on our don not call list. I cannot tell you how many times I have called back and pressed 1, all to no avail - they still keep calling! I am also on the national do not call registry, but it makes no difference. I am about ready to see a lawyer and sue the a**holes for harassment.

I keep getting calls from this number, but it is always silence when i pick up the phone. Two days in a row i decided to just pick up my phone and place it on my lap. They stayed connected to the call for 5 mins. I laughed loudly and they hung up...since they wanna play games I guess I will join in on the fun.

If you answer these type of calls and  are given a way to opt out from getting anymore of their call, all you are really doing is verifying to them that they did indeed called a working phone number. The same holds true if your answering machine picks up.
All you can do is block the calls thru your phone provider. I have SBC and I can block any number via my computer.

Unfeeling believable these same a-holes already tried this spoofed number in another failed attempt to scam me a few months back (but I already had it blacklisted then and they got the same disconnected number message they got now lmao here). This time these stupid moron's tried it 'calling' the line I use for business but the service I use similar to Google Voice also blocks these idiots spoofed number on all my phones

? Always a pre recorded message selling something (illegal for telemarketers)
? Always blatantly disregard the NDNCR and FTC laws and call numbers registered on the DNC Registry (illegal for telemarketers)
? Always claim to be removed from their (non existent) no call list (what that actually does is confirm they got a live number and you will get more calls and their sucker list they pass on to other scammers will have your number on it)
? Always fraud entry claim they can lower your interest rates, and
? Always request your credit card info at the end of the 'call' (together these last two will allow them to rob you blind. There are ways to lower your interst rates with out having to pay up the wazoo! Ways that even you can do that won't cost you a cent!!!)
? They also have, many times, used the same spoofed numbers for the loan modification, home protection (security system, supposedly free. Yea, right), the phoney political survey- 2 day Bahamas cruise scams (the last one is actually a time share scam).
? All most likely have offshore call centers (read that boiler rooms) and pretty much always use throw away/disposable cell phones
? All use Caller ID spoofing (maybe at times VOIP services) maliciously and to make it hard to trace and/or block them.

Don't even try calling back or even answering calls from these bottom feeding lowlife pigs that will always wind up with the same result as pressing a number. Calls won't stop but increase and you'll get hundreds more scam calls from their buddies.

For myself, I can't help but laugh that much more at these moron's especially in instances like this time when they use an already blacklisted spoofed number to try and scam me once again. Their calls don't get through, phone never rings, scam never reaches me ... they fail, they lose and I win. In a way, they tables are turned. With each failed attempt they must get more and more frustrated and PO'd while I am the one laughing ... this time at them!!!

Keep reporting these a-holes, if you can block/ blacklist their numbers (if available maybe even the area codes their CID spoofed numbers falsely claim to come from!!!!

(For cell/smart phones there's some apps that can block numbers and even area codes.
We all need to fight back against these cowardly slimeballs and do all we can to turn the tables on them and even have them stopped for good! They have polluted the phone system for way to d*mn long!!!

Keep getting calls from this number at nearly a harrasments pace.

They have called my business several times today. They hit up my cell phone also. I never pick up on either phone. he repeated calls are starting to get on my nerves. Has anyone ever asked their State Attorney General's office about this being harrassment that they can investigate?

i answer they hang up! they call 5 plus times a day.

July 25th 2012 4:10 pm - Same deal as the others. Caller ID reads "44 Service Call" When asked for a hard line call back number, the individual cursed and hung up.

My phone has been so quiet I had hoped they all had been arrested and sitting in jail somewhere.. ah well same number called 15 minutes ago..but it says it is a 44 Service call. I answered and no one was there.

I get calls from them almost daily. They will even stay on the phone so that a voice mail is recorded even though they don't say anything. Call says coming from Kent, WA. I tried to call back and I get a recorded message that says this number is no longer in service.

As I speak Japanese, it's no problem for me to yell screaming insults at them. They have no idea who in the hell I am or waht I'm yelling about. Most Japanese curse words come in a stream like a machine gun so I string them together and keep it up until the line goes dead. It doesn't take long. Ha!  Yakamashi!

I get a call from this number and soon as I say hello, it hangs up. I call back and it states the number is disconnected.

This number keeps calling me. I call back from my Magic Jack and it says something about a conference and it wont let me place the call but from my cell phone it says it is not in service but the number just called me.  Im sick of it!

This # calls our business everyday about 2 times a day. No one ever says anything and there is no option to discontinue the solicitation. PLEASE STOP IT!!!

I keep a whistle by the phone.  When these boneheads call, I blow the whistle right into the phone then hang up!  This number shows up on my caller ID as "Consumer Services"
