Group Health uses a secure line that is not available to the general public.

Call them back during regular business hours.

Yeah right! you probably one of those crazy people who try to call people around just want to get their information. You are scam! shame on you!

This is an outoing number (only) for Group Health, you cannot call back on them. This is a legit number.

I work for Group Health. All their phone numbers from the Tacoma area show up like this due to patient privacy, in other words if they are calling regarding a specific patient they are not going to allow a special phone number to show up. For example if they need to make a urology appt then the urology number won't show because it has to do with patient confidentiality. HIPPA. Just like all phone numbers from Tacoma General Hospital come through as 403-1000, but if you call it back it does go the operator but you have no clue who specifically they were calling.

It was Group health and they stated it is no longer in service.

It was from Group Health Corp of Tacoma, WA about surveys.

Got a call from this number that was legitimately from Group Health. They called to "offer" me an appointment, a follow up request from my doctor. I didn't call it back to see if it works both ways, but I just wanted to report that I got a call that was totally legit. This is Group Health.

I too got a call from this number, 253-627-5177 yesterday, 2-14-2011.  They asked for Jacquelyn.  Called again today, I did not answer.

Often businesses have numbers that are used for outgoing only. That is the case with many of the GHC numbers. If they don't leave a message, don't worry about it.

I got a call from this number and when I answered they had hung up.  In a few seconds later I got a second call, and answered.  When I answered it was from Group Health wanting to make an appointment with me.
So if Group Health doesn't know of this number than why are they calling me from it?

Just got a call from this number stating they were from CBRE customer service (my employer) asking me if I was working or not.  I replied I was out sick and they asked who was working for me.  When I asked who was calling they replied "Lisa from CBRE customer service". Seemed weird so I Googled the phone number and found this site.  Something fishy is going on.

Group Health has knowledge of this problem and assures me they are working on it.

I got a call from that same number and was wondering what Customer Service at Group Health said? I called them also and they said they had not heard of that number.

I just got a call from this same number saying some weird things.  I also tried calling the number back and it said it was a disconnected Group Health number.  That is very strange.  I did call Group Health and reported that.

At 7:54 AM SUNDAY, A Guy left a message on my phone saying "You have the shittiest message i have ever heard. You know who this is call me" I tried calling this number back to get "this is a group health number no longer in use" it was odd... so i tried to do a free reverse phone look-up here "http://www.whitepages.com/search/ReversePhone?full_phone=253-627-5177&localtime=survey" which gave me an area of where the number was listed in tacoma. Did a search on Google for that part of tacoma and found that

was right on to where the 627-5177 number came from. So I call the 383-8760 and it is also "Not In Use"  

Gotta wait to call group health customer service on monday morning.
