My Mom has received several calls from 1-254-659-8160 and one time they called her by her first name. They did not say anything else.

Received 2 calls from 251-659-8160.  No one said anything.  I said "If anyone is here, please say something."  They disconnected the call.  I wish this would stop.  I have a brother somewhere in that area code who is a missing Viet Nam Vet and my heart stops everytime I see the number on call waiting.

THAT IS MAGIC JACK ,JACKING AROUND AND TRYING YO ASSIGN THAT NUMBER TO SOME CONSUMER. JUST PUT A ONE IN FRONT AND CALL IT!!!

I received a call from 254-659-8160 and did not answer. I called back and got a recording saying that I can make calls for free by using Magic Jack. They also state that this number has not been assigned to a Magic Jack customer.

male called at 837 pm asked for my dad by name and he is not listed on my number? they hung up when asked who is this?

Received a call from this number and when I called back it said it wasn't a working phone number, but had a recording stating that it was Magic Check.  If they are soliciting for donations, I make sure if a person is ever on the other end of the call, that I never ever and will never make a donation through solicitation.

These calls are a nuisance.  Aren't we all happy that we are paying our monthly phone bills in order to recieve countless phone calls from those soliciting funds.  I don't know about everyone else, but we work hard for our money and this is purely irritating at best.  It's a shame that the National Do Not Call registry doesn't ban charity calls.

Just got a call from this number. I'm in central Tx. After saying hello, they hung up.

Received a call from 254-659-8160 (Hillsboro, TX) but did not answer.  When I called the number back it and answering machine that the person at that extension was not available and to leave a message.  I did not leave a mssg.

This number needs to be disconnected or block, I am also tired of the calls and the not ava recording when you call back!

They called Sunday afternoon!  Left no message. Looks like someone is pulling a scam on old folks.

This time I answered it was someone asking for a fire department money fund.

I just got a call from this number, 254-659-8160 at 7:36.  Said nothing....I'm getting sick and tired of different random numbers calling and doing crap like this.  One number had the audacity to ask for me by my first name! Like we were old friends or something.  Something needs to be done about people like this.

This says land line Hillsboro, Texas what is it about?

Male asked for me by name.  Our phone is under my husband's name.

After doing a reverse search on this number all I can find is that it is a land line from Hillsboro Texas.  I live in west texas but have no clue who this is.  Getting really sick of people calling and hanging up.

Received a call from that number tonight. They simply hung up when I said "hello".

We received a call from this # and they said a troopers assn has just "kicked off" some kind of campaign.  We told them we're not interested and hung up.

received two calls from this number so far today.  the last one was at 8:57 pm.  the first call disconnected as soon as i answered.  with the second call, there was no response when i answered.  i called the number back and was immediately directed to the voicemail box of an unknown person where i was told the box was full and the call was disconnected.

got call from the number 254 6659 8160. no one spoke. called it back, and went to "the person at this extension is not available.

I just started receiving messages from this phone number and they never say anything or don't leave a message taking up empty space on my mailbox. I just wish this crap would stop.

Got a call in North Texas from this number.  They did not leave a message.

This number called at 8:10 PM on Wednesday, 17 January 2010.  When I answered, no one responded and simply hung up.  When I called the number, received a recorded message said that the person is unavailable.

called and an automated voice said to wait while they tried to connect me, also get calls from "UNKNOWN" very frequently, usually they go blank when the answering machine gets them

I got a call from them this evening.  The guy tried to say he was from the Texas State Troopers Association, but I cut him off and hung up.  Then I checked several websites and found this one also had someone reporting a scam from back in July 2010.  

Don't make contributions over the phone ever.  Not unless you iniciate the call and have verified the organization is legal.
