They called my number today, I answered & they spoke rapidly in what I think was Spanish.  I hung up quickly.

Caller ID had 256-000-3114 and no name found. No message left. I WILL NOT ANSWER CALLS SO AS THIS!

I get a phopne call every day from this numer but I don't answer it as caller ID says "Name Not Found".  When my answer machine pickes up, they hang up.  This is getting ridiculous!  Like everyone else, I am on the Do Not Call Registry but it doesn't make a difference!

I answered the phone and it said something about lowering my credit card interest rate...i don't even carry a balance on my credit card so i figured it was a scam. i pressed "9" as instructed to "lower my interest rate" and when someone came on the other end i said i wanted to be taken off their list and she immediately hung up before i even finished my sentence. i tried calling back and of course it's not an available number. this infuriates me to no end!

This is just another of the numbers "Credit Card Services" is using to avoid the National Do Not Call Registry. It is actually an Internet phone service and they continually change numbers.

If you get a call from them, please try to keep them on the line as long as possible. The more they are tied up with people playing along with their scam for a while, the more it costs in labor charges to the company and the sooner they will be out of business.

I didn't answer this phone call because I didn't recognize the number. When I attempted to call it back, it came on and said, "We're sorry,  your number cannot be completed as dialed." As if it doesn't even exist!
