I can assure you no one was calling at 3 am. The office was closed by 7pm. I worked there as the administrative supervisor. It isn't a scam although there were a few young guys who worked there and didn't know customer service if it slapped them in the face. But it is a legit place and they have repeat customers because they get to go to these concerts.

I used to work there. Didn't really like it, but it is not a scam. It does help with your local firefighters union. If you don't care then please say take me off list. I can promise you the hours called are noon to 9 pm. Not a scam.

It is for the Fire Fighters Union.  It is legit, but it is for the "union" so if you commit to sending them $50 I'm not real sure how much of that makes it back to the local organization.  I usually give but only once a year... they seem to call quarterly claiming it is a yearly fundraiser.

I was promised  by tom@fireco.com that he would ensure they stopped but they still call.

Called but there was no reply when answered

Keep getting calls from this number called it back and it just hangs up.

We got this call tonight.  My wife answered the phone and he asked for me by name.  She thought it was a telemarketer so she told him him I wasn't home (that usually does the trick and they hang up).  Then he said "tell him Donald Patterson called".  Didn't recognize the name so I googled the phone number and found this.  We have donated to Fire Department before don't know if it's related.  We also live in HSV.

This number seems familiar. The party represented they were from the Fire Department but called me by name.  My phone number is registered to my deceased husband's name in the phone book.

Received a call from this number asking for my full name. I was half sleep when they called, stating that his name was something Lee, and that he was calling in reference to some firefighter dept. These people even have my cell number!! I want this to stop immediately! I am signed up withthe national do not call list, so I'm gonna try that to see what happens... 7/19/2010

I am on do not call list. I get calls from this number quite often, last one this morning at 2:30. They hung up after I answered. How can they get away with that? Huntsville resident.

I got TWO calls from this number within a half hour of each other - one each on TWO DIFFERENT HOME PHONE NUMBERS!!!  No one on the other end - just a hang up.  Tried to call them back and got a busy signal!  Will NO ONE STOP THESE MORONS???

Perfect way to get them back guys , I found a way to get them to stop calling you by doing 2 simple thing , ask them for their name and info , say that if they want to send you money they can as it will go towards to your savings account and if they tried to get you to donate towards them , say that this call is monitored and that they will be traced if they do not disconnect as it is against the fcc laws , and that you know where the call is traced from. watch them get scared and appoligize to you then they will hang up in peace

The Huntsville Firefighters Association does sell concert tickets and put on events to raise money for MDA and other projects. These concert tickets are for the concert stated. The shows do happen at the VBC. Buy one as you might see a good show!!!  I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from this number, when I answered no one said anything. When I hung up and tried to call the number back the line was busy. I believe it was a telemarketer, but I am on a do not call list so this is very very annoying.

Receiving harassing phone calls day and night from this number! They ask for a donation and when you say no they curse and then hang up the phone. You can not call the number back. I want it to stop!

This guy says his name is Brian Petterson and is a smart a**. When I told him to pull me on a no call list he hung up. He was also a smart a** to my wife too i will figure out how to get his phone #. From firefighter association.

They hung up before I got to the phone as someone else answered my phone. Probably some scam.

This is a telemarketer representing Huntsville Fire Department.  He will not stop calling.  Report him to Union Representative LARRY AIRES at (256)651-6312 or Huntsville Fire Public Relations Officer (256) 427-7421.  They will try to make this stop.  This is the 3rd year this has happened.  He keeps calling between 8pm & 830 PM and will not stop when asked.  He states his name was Daryl Cranfield and pretends to know you asking by your first name.  REPORT HIM!

This number keeps calling me.  I am on the Do Not Call Registery, this call is unsoliciated and unwanted.  The Huntsville Fire Department does not make calls like this.  This is a scam and I hope whoever is doing this get caught and put in jail!!!!  So bottom line is this call is illegal on more than one count and they better watch out, sooner than later they will be caught.  Shame on whomever you are at 256-261-7728.
    Also I live in Huntsville and just checked with ticketmaster and the John Anderson web site for tour dates - he is NOT scheduled to be anywhere Alabama!

I have a roomate on the National Missing Person Data Base. This strange number is not one that I can call back. They could at LEAST leave a message so I would know that it is not my roomate trying to call for help.

Got the same call, but noone was on the other end, you would think these sites would be monitored and the numbers checked out to see who is scamming people and put a stop to it.  Guess only those of us that make comments here are the only ones concerned.
