Called didn't leave a message and then doesn't accept incoming calls. Who is this company I'd like to sue them.

I did no pick up, no message left on voicemail.

Calls my cell number several times a week with a recording telling me "The factory warranty on my vehicle is expired" and to press 1 to renew.. I've pressed 1 to get a human and as soon as they pick up they simply ask for the year make and model of my car, I said "Take my phone number off your list" and he hung up without saying a word.. They suck.

Just got a call from this number, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Getting calls on my cell phone from whoever this is and it is using up my minimal minutes.  Registered my cell phone on the Do Not Call Registry today so I hope they stop calling.

Got a call from this number at our office. When I answered the phone no one was on the other end.

Just got a call on my cell phone from this number.  Recorded message ugrently warning me about my foreclosure or mortage. The message said I must press 1 and act immediately.  The voice is very loud and urgent.  It caught me off guard and it took me a second to realize it was an a**hole telemarketer.

when i got a phone call from this number, i answered it (i'm expecting a call from someone in a different state so i'm picking up calls from weird numbers and area codes) but when i answered, i heard nothing and within a couple of seconds, the phone call was ended. i didn't get a recording or anything.. should i be worried?

Received a call from this number on my cell phone about my mortgage. I don't even have a mortgage. Whose using my minutes?

They called my cell. I did not answer.

I occasionally received phone calls from this #.  I was told to call 307 223 0458 and speak to a CS rep. if I wanted to be remove me from their calling list.  She claimed that she removed me from their calling list.

She told to me to visit www.donotcall.gov and once I registered teleannoying are not allowed to call me anymore.

Same as many others on this forum, they called about "helping" me with my mortgage, which is something I don't have, I currently rent. The recording asked me to press "1", so I did, a person actually answered and I immediately tore into them, they hung up in seconds before I could even say "take me off your list" and "I'm reporting this".

Called ID says it's from Huntsville, AL. Oh and it was on my cell phone.

I got a call from the 256 261 7790 number this morning.  Funny thing is, I just activated this VoIP DID last night, so they must get a report of new number activations and start calling them immediately.  After reading Liz's post, I called the 256 261 1000 number, and someone answered claiming to be with a phone company (I didn't get the name).  He transferred me to customer service (the direct number for which is 877 340 2600).  After speaking with a customer service rep, she verified that this number belonged to one of their customers and, although she could not divulge any information about the customer, she did claim to have sent an email to the customer telling them to remove me from their call list.  I googled the customer service number and it seems to belong to PAETEC Communications, Inc.  I have a Trixbox PBX at home and plan to put the 256 261 7790 number in my blackhole list anyway, but I hope this helps someone out.

the 256 261 7790 and 256 261 7787 have called my phone several times different days of the week and different hours. I am getting tired of it cause when I answer they hangup. I reversed the numbers and found the name us lec communications. Then I found the main number of 256 261 1000. Its bad enough they call but then they hangup everytime I answer and use up my minutes.

A call came to my cell phone when I was sitting in my office. Service is so poor in this location that I forget about using my cell phone until I move to a better spot. I wasn't able to hear any voice communication. The call stayed connected for 29 seconds.

Unwanted marketing call from this number

This is BS, you ask these a***oles the company name and they repeat "mortgage or warranty services", and as soon as you express their annoyance they hang up on you- Cowards!! I try and add in as many personal twisted insults as i can before they have a chance to. Or just listen to what they have to say, give them false information and make them waste ten minutes of their valuable time on you so at the end of the call you can laugh in their face. The middle eastern accented guy called me once about a car warranty and asked me what kind of car I had, so I spelled out the word c-a-m-e-l-f-u-c-k-e-r, he didn't like that too much but i told him to go f*** himself anyway.

4:30pm Eastern, April 6th 2009.  Got a call saying Obama has created a program to adjust my mortgage.  Seems like they're trying to trick people into thinking they represent the government.  Press 1 to talk to a representative, press 9 if you don't have a mortgage or aren't interested.  I don't have a mortgage and only my family knows my cell number.  I pressed 9 and the call ended.

Spam call about reducing mortgage

This number just called me at noon and left me a voicemail. It is an automated message regarding some sort of payment assistance if you are a homeowner. The market is as bad as it is with default payments. They need to stop calling people and wasting their minutes!

Automated phone call selling debt consolidation.  They won't stop calling me.  I have given this peticular phone numberto "NO ONE", not even my family.  THe number is unlisted, private and on the do not call list.  Yet they keep calling. When I choose the option to go to a customer service person and ask them how they got my number that it is a private number, they hand up on me. They refuse to tell me the name of their company and they keep calling.

i found out this number is frm some prison inmates..... it doesnt surprise me...
