I constantly get calls from bs numbers like this. One question to all posters are any of you disabled or have sued your employer ? If so, you may want to look at SRA International Inc's website. That's who is getting our tax money and invading more people's privacy than you think. I have tracked more than one of these calls to many of the 23 states and multiple city headquarters of these want to be ghosts including several IP invading addresses attacking my system. They are in at least 4 other countries worldwide. Thanks Bush and now Obama. The starting salary for these creeps is 88k to data mine your info. It is all against the Fourth Amendment but I bet not one of you has even hear of these clowns. Person of Interest stuff has been happening for 12 years plus to all of us and that is a fact. It is a way to get tracking firmware on your cell and I know it is true ! I will trade phones with any non-believer for a day and your eyes will truly be opened to what this country has really become.

Got a call from these people...didn't answer. Telemarketers call my business everyday and often...these scumbags should be stopped!!! They are a real pain in everybody's a$$!!! How do they stay in business...anyone with half a brain should know these people are SCUM!!!

i get these freaks all day, i never answer a number i don't recognize anymore.  i love the horn idea though, that could be fun!!

Another fine call from the Robo-Call Bandits.

These calls are from an outbound call center in India.   They use internet telephones to call us here in the USA.  They are looking to scam you out of $1,495.00

They want credit/debit card info to bill you an upfront fee of $495.00 at a minimum.  This type of scam is illegal, but since they are not located within the borders of the USA, they are immune from our laws.
Also, once you give them access to any money - it's GONE and there is NO WAY to get it back.

Scammers each and every one of them.

You are so right about the air horn.  I got mine at Walmart but I'm sure any boating supply store sells them.  Mine sits right beside my phone and I actually look forward to their calls now.  I'm told that a police whistle works well, too.  Deaf to all telemarketers!!!

Every day now for the past 4 days a call from this number it's getting old.....

Call: 800-962-2488 and complain.... They are One Communications now & confirm it is their customer... you can even check how much they owe and make changes to their account...

I have, in the past, filed many complaints with the FCC for the seemingly endless number of violators to the 'Do Not Call Registry?.  Although this has proven to be effective and has prevented specifically identified violators from calling again there will always be more idiots who choose to do so.   I have since applied all of my valid incoming telephone call numbers with ?special unique? assigned ring tones and I do not answer any incoming call that activates the ?standard? ring tone.  With the ?special? ring tones the desired calls can be easily identified from a distance and even before looking at the callerid!  One needs not be interrupted from daily activities by having to rush to answer an undesired and intrusive phone call.   I advise facilitating this logical ?solution?.  It is very easy, takes only a few minutes and it will solve nearly all of the problems by immediately identifying the intrusives.  Unfortunately, as with all technologies, the uniquely and specially assigned identifying ring tones don?t activate 100% of the time because nothing is completely accurate (in rare instances ?desired? calls may activate the ?standard? ring tone) but since I took this course of action many months ago I have discovered that it performs as designed about 95-98% of the time.  I understand that we are all aggravated by the inconsiderate idiots who push their products and services or attempt to obtain money or our personal information when it is our desire and our right to be left alone.  We pay for the use of our phones and these other ignorant a$$holes have no right to take advantage of them.  I have chosen to live by the philosophy ?ignore the ignorant?.  It is up to all of us to personally take actions to ensure that our own rights are protected because others are focused entirely on themselves and their desires for personal gain.  If no one chose to answer (yes, we have a choice) these intrusively ignorant phone calls all of the efforts of those undesirables would be in vain.  Please take a few minutes to give this identification method a try ? if you do not feel that it helps then you can always reconfigure the phone numbers back to their original specifications.  I sincerely hope that this ?solution? helps.  It has proven to work for me!

I also keep getting calls ...Unfortunately, I did call back and press one.  I also reported their # to the
Govt DNC as a compliant.

I recalled 260-399-4151 and pressed 1 to be removed from their list. Well, over the next three days I recieved no less than 12 calls per day, including one where they actually left a message. The message went: "Ha, ha, Blahaaaaaaaa waa haaa, fool"

So much for thei DO NOT CALL activation!!!

Called my cell phone twice. Once on 2/6/12 and again on 2/7/12. Did not leave a message.

This number just called-no message-no id-other than number-I am on do not call list and do not accept blocked calls. Do not answer unknown calls.

Called me yesterday, I didn't answer.  I read all these posts and was glad I didn't.  They just called again today and I still did not answer.  They didn't leave a message either time.  Really annoying!!  I just want to answer and have a randomly confusing conversation with them in my best "broken english" voice

Maybe you can pay for it and tell us all who it is.The next time someone calls you,find out who that is and tell everyone who and what there are.Maybe you should be the one who finds out the hard way,not me.Until these people want to be recognized as a actual company with a name on the phone nunber I will assume it is a scammer,and so should you.If not be our ginea pig.

You are so right JHM!!  If anyone follows ther instructions on the scammers' script, & presses "1" to be removed, all they are doing is CONFIRMING A VALID SUCKER'S # TO KEEP ON THEIR LISTS!!!  I mistakenly, pressed "1" at least 6 MONTHS ago, & have recd no les than 3 calls each & every frekin' DAY since from these morons!!! NEFVER press any button on your phones. Just HANG UP or  blow an AIR HORN in the mouthpiece!!  It may not satop the calls from the call center, but it makes the last caller DEAF!!!
