well i got a call again..they said i owed a bank that i paid off way back when,,it states it on my experian credit report. so last time i looked up the address and the office is in an office building that anyone can go in and pay $25 a week rent for however long ,,i think it was up to but not over 6 months, till they scam enuff people and get enuff money. the lady said the last 4 digits of my social,,but she didn't have the others,,anyone can have those but not the rest. i told her that here in the state of virginia it's against the law to call and harass someone for a bill that no longer exists. so they had better not call back. when i went to applied banks website and put in the account number that this nut said was mine..applied bank said that number wasn't found in their computer system, so i knew then it was a scam artist tryin to get money out of me.

They can not call your job and harass let alone talk to anyone else but you about this debt. If they do It's a law suit won by you already!! And get you a lawyer and sue the hell out them. I hope people understand their rights cause this is not legal. Robot calls are illegal and also punishable by law. Never give information to no one. And also always report the numbers that harass you to the attorney general and the government and make sure if you say anything say I have nothing and I owe nothing and I don't know who are what your talking about. And do not call this number ever again. And can I have your business ID and you lawyer information and I will be sure to tell my lawyer about this fraudulent call and information that you will send me in the mail. The end . And that's if you say anything say those words. And nothing else!!

These people called my work and tied up all the lines. Once they think they have the right person for anything owed, credit cards, payday loans, anything It' s non-stop calling your home and work. If you are not at work they will go after your boss trying to get money. Be very careful because they have got hundreds of people fired.
NOTE THIS-There is absolutely nothing you can do, USA has tried, but since they are from another country there is nothing you can do. At first I laid into them and kind of enjoyed it, but they just keep calling. Your best defense is having there phone number id on your phone- This was tough for me, Don't answer it, adventually they may get your work number, If this happen go directly to your boss and have them google India payday loans, then tell him you don't no who these people are, Never pay them anything thinking the will just go away, Reason, they will want even more, This went over 3 years mainly because I keep laying into them, Best way ignore the call, they will go away, hopefully! I no three people that this has worked with. SEE-When you answer the phone, they have this fire that they still have away to get money from them. They will start calling using T.V. they called today, this time a woman. she asked me if the person they were looking for was home, i said no she isn't, so she asked if she could leave a contact name and number, sure. so as i was standing there talking with her , she left her name and the contact number and i said i would make sure that person would get it, goodbye and hung up the phone. no i'm not going to call a scam artist who just wants my number, i wasn't born yesterday, i know s*** when i see it or hear it and schreiber is a big pile of it.

well i got a letter from that same address, but the people at it are The Schreiber Law Firm, PLLC. I decided to get online at Applied Bank and put in the 12 digit account number that they have on the letter they sent me. i hit submit and at the top of the page it says, THIS NUMBER IS NOT FOUND IN OUR SYSTEM. So this really leads me to believing this is a fake along with calling Allied Bank and finding out that the collection company holding the account is ANG Financial, the guy gave me the number, surprise, it's the number to Schreiber Law Firm. On the front of my letter from S law firm it's address is the number 6,,but on the back of it , it's spelled out, questionable. Now when the guy called my home yesterday, i told him that i have my EQUIFAX papers right here, applied bank isn't listed, he asked me what that was. Everyone knows it's one of 3 credit ratings companies, but he didn't know that. transunion has it listed but says it closed back in 2006 and $0 is owed.

Don't answer. If they want you bad enough, they will leave a message or email you which is the legal way to handle these matters. Save the phone number to your phone with DNA or Do Not Answer, or block them. I have crap like this listed under "SPAM" in my address book,  it's blocked and it automatically goes to voice mail and if they don't leave a message, I never even know they called. ;)

I got a call from them also. Saying Schriber Law firm. They r very nasty on the phone. Asked them to send me an email, they claim their computers are down , that was 2 weeks ago. What can they possibly do to you?  Just harass you all day long?  Got a threat they were going to garnish my wages.

I get a call from this number about once a month. I have it identified as "Do Not Answer" on my phone!

They claim they represent the TITAN GROUP. Nefarious in their illegal harassment of old debt and are very mean spirited. Be careful.

Just got a call from a "Mr. Walker" who said he is a "legal advisor" and "it is imperative that we speak today." I hope he is sitting in a comfortable chair and has some coffee and some goodies close by, 'cuz he's going to be waiting a LONG TIME before I call. This is how these folks operate: They make an agreement with a real attorney whereby they pay the attorney to be their "attorney on record" and to borrow the attorney's name to establish the business name. The attorney can be any attorney, not just consumer law dedicated. They then open these businesses under "The law offices of -----" so that when they call you they can intimidate you, knowing full well that most regular folk don't know much about the law.

They do it that way to make people think they're being sued, etc. They will even call your workplace and tell them that "papers will be delivered to the clerk" if they don't talk to you. It happened to me, and the receptionist said to me that they "were going to serve me papers" if I didn't take the call. I told her to put them in my voicemail...and well over 6 months later I'm still waiting for "the papers" to be delivered. Fact is, they are probably in some other state, have no legal jurisdiction to collect the debt and are just manipulating you into thinking they are going to sue you. I've seen it happen many times with my friends.

Do not let them do this to you. If they call and say that to you, ask them: "What kind of papers are you delivering, to what clerk specifically (please provide a name), signed by whom (attorney's name) and when (specific date)?. Then tell them that you need the info to hand it to YOUR lawyer and watch them squirm.

I got a call from these bottom feeders earlier today.

Schreiber or shriver law firm... asked me about the last 4 of my social, he gave them to me correctly but I told him "that isn't the last 4 of my social" called him a scam artist and threatened if he called me again I would press charges for possible identity theft or telecommunications fraud and I hung up on him.

Just got a call from 267-525-7081, no idea why. Message was left by a "Mr Parker" asking me to call him as soon as I receive the message. Looks like he's in this forum for making garbage calls to people. I'll rope in the FCC and the Attorney General for assistance..

This is an Attorney Office in Pennsylvania that only does Debt Collection, they do not care if it is old (10+years) and settled, paid or otherwise. They threaten to call you job and Garnish wages. Reported them to my State Attorney General's Office for deceptive practices. Do not give them any information if they are legit they should have your information, was asked what is my name and ss#, I laughed at them and said you called you me - you should already Know That! She said they needed to verify, so i said "Verify This" - And Hung UP! Scumbags, just hang up on them they are low life fools.

Yea this #calls at least once a day, I called it when I new no one would answer & a recording said it was the law office of Shiver , & to leave a msg at ext 200, yea these people are scam artist.

I got this twice last night, but I don't answer because I know that this people are scammers...if someone call you don't give any information, just hang-up or egnore the calls... Please stop this....

He owns that property, and that is the number attached to it. He's breaking the law with the non-identifying robocalls, plus he called a Washington State number, and he is not licensed here, nor is his collections company.
