in regards to making them stop this is the best way to catch them at there game , if you have verizon phone service they have a service called phone trace this service dose cost and you must call them to sign up it is 5.50 a month once it's on if you hit *57 each time they call the is traced and sent directly to verizon's unlawful call center where it is stored they will give you a 800 num to call you will need to give this to your local police dept as well as make sure you are registerd on the do not call list this way every time you hit *57 that call is tracked and can lead to criminal charges on this company ! i have them logged 15 times already and i am in the process of filing a lawsuit against them for phone harrassment.
hate these warranty people!!!

I've called each affiliate of their's that I could reach to make them aware they are doing business with a telemarketer using unlawful/unethical business practices. I encourage you to do the same.

I got eight calls from them within two weeks, and on the last four, actually spent the time pushing "1" to "speak to a representative" and ask them to remove me from their sucker list (I have never even OWNED a car).  Nothing.  Call number nine came today, and I believe I found the answer:  Punching that number "1" for a "representative" and one big loud mother of a big whistle.  At least she'll have trouble hearing everyone she tries to scam for the next week or so.  :(

I previously got identical calls from two other numbers,785-890-8855 and 717-432-5696, all calling my cell phone. I beleive that they are all the same company, and that they have access to call using many differant numbers.  I had already placed my cell on the do not call list.  I previsouly filed FTC complaints and will do the same for this number. I am a Florida attorney, and I have been thinking about suing them - but I also know that it will not be easy.

Interesting, in first call from 267-773-4776, when I followed the prompt and pressed the number 1, I spoke with "Meg" who asked if I wanted my warranty reinstated.  I told her I had placed me phone on the Do Not Call list and asked to speak to her supervisor.   I was placed on hold for 15 minutes and then disconnected.  Then, I called the number from a differant phone and got a message "By calling this number, we will place you on our Do Not Call list.  Please allow a few days to process."

I did a reverse lookup on 411.com and got this from my search
Type: Cell Phone
Provider: New Cingular Wireless Pcs, Llc
Location: Philadelphia, PA

I doubt this call was placed from a cell phone.  "Meg" had told she was located in Phoenix.  I think they use software that can show a caller ID number other than the number they actually place the call from.
Grrr.

I saw that this call was coming from "Pennsylvania" -- so I decided not to answer it....and when I googled it, I got here.
I didn't answer it, but I'm about to file a complaint. This isn't the first out of state number that I've gotten recently that's been a spam. These calls need to stop.

This is only ONE of the numbers I get calls from on my cell, at home, at work.
There ARE others.  And it's ALWAYS the *final notice*....but they keep calling, even AFTER I've asked to be REMOVED (many numberous times) from their call list.  They don't listen.  MAKE them listen, please?!?!?!

Just got a call from this number. It gave me options to (press) 1) to speak to a rep and 2) to take me off the list. I wasn't sure who I was talking to, so I hit 1, and was disconnected after some bad music. Odd.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number as well as from a couple of other unknown numbers. By checking several reverse number searches, I got the same Pennsylvania info as Jerry P.

Wonder what kind of phishing scam is going on? I've also received several snail mail notices that my car warranty is about to expire. I've been getting them for 2 years now. I have an extended warranty that still has a long ways to go...Hmmmm.

If your call can be traced to Engage Tel. Here is at least one place to start.
Engage Tel Spam Numbers...
I got a call from 414 755-6411. Selling home warranties. That number led me to Choice One Communications in WI who told me the number  belongs to Engage Tel, Inc in  Wyoming. I looked up corp records and found out they are incorp by Gerald Pitts's firm Wyoming Corporate Services, Inc. They are Engage Tel's resident agent.  Call Mr Gerald Pitts at 307-632-3333, ask for Mr Pitts and demanded that your phone never be called again. I suggest all of you call Mr Pitt's office and do the same. Their address is 2710 Thomes Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001 for one to send legal matters to. I am still looking for a number for Engage Tel. But give Mr Pitts a call, he needs to here about his clients practices.

I found a number and name for Engage Tel Inc. He is not high on the corporate ladder. But he will remove you from the list. Apparently, these telemarketers buy lists of  clients who have opted in with a company, so they can be contacted.

So call Dave with Engage Tel Inc at 415-472-5008. He can remove your number from all his clients lists.
