This number keeps calling, each time we answer it clicks and no one says anything.  Very annoying, they have called about the same time each night.

Chances are they are not calling you about tennis.  They are a legitimate market research company just doing surveys and the topic could be anything from local elections to what type of laundry detergent you use.  Market research companies are exempt from Do Not Call registries as they are not attempting to sell you anything, they are just asking for your opinions.  If you politely ask them to remove your number from their list they should comply.  If you're rude about it or just pick up the phone and hang up, you may find that you continue to get calls (I know, I used to work in a market research call center - it's funny how sometimes you can forget to note a rude person's phone number for removal from the call list).  Calls are made automatically by a computer, and if you don't answer or your answering machine picks up, it attempts to call you back again at a later time.

Ive recieved mutliplie calls from this number as well as other numbers from these people..they dont ever say anything..I do not answer and they still continue to call me..its really making mad..they need to get a life and leave me alone..theres also a company named tate and kirin from Pa..that continues to call and harrass me when I looked up their number it showed the sam info..as these ppl..they are trying to hack into your presonal info..Ive had to put blocks but they still continue to call from other numbers...people need to be put into place and put in jail...

This number called twice and left no message and when I call it back it says due to high call volumes we are unable to process your request please try again later. Who or what is it?

You have to purchase the call blocking service from the phone company.

I haven't answered the phone yet because I wanted to look up the number calling, NO ONE other then family has this number. This way I don't receive harrassing calls or telemarketing calls. Glad I checked!

They have called me with no ID and just a phone number showed up.   These are very disturbing calls. Will someone please stop them!

I keep getting calls from the number on my TRACFONE.  I don't want to burn up my minutes answering this garbage.  STOP CALLING ME.

Am disabled and tired of rushing to get to the phone to find no one on the other end.  Same name, multiple calls over several days.  If I get hurt trying to get to the phone, "thoroughbread re" will have to deal with me face to face in a court of law.

Caller would not speak.  After saying hello 3-4 times they hung up the phone.

Just looked my info up so all of you take notice:  No one hates solicitors more than me!

www.donotcall.gov.  It's the national Do Not Call Registry web site.  I signed up in 2003 & have had peace ever since.  You can register up to 3 phone #'s.  Upon checking it out today, I got the stats that violators of this registry privacy are subject to a $16,000.00 fine.

You must have brown eyes. You're so full of s*** it's pathetic. This is the same company that uses the #567 248 4400. I would say they are hackers as they have that big long number on top on call holding and they get by the federal blocking this way. Almost like the feds have.

Survey companies are just another annoying form of telemarket crap.  Do we really need to use tax payers dollars to enact yet another law to stop this invasion of privacy?

This caller hung up on me before telling me who he or she was. How very rude! I have to answer the phone - this is a busy office, and I get so tired of callers like this who waste my time! Thank you to the people on this site, who let me know the identity of this caller. Since I know now who this caller is - I'll hang up on them the next time they attempt to harrass me on my job!

This was a legitimate call from Thoroughbred Research.  They were calling to follow up on a call I had made to the gas company regarding a gas emergency. They asked me if I would voluntarily do a survey based upon the customer service I received. They were very courteous and it took only 10 or 15 minutes, and I wanted to give the feedback. They called two times about three hours apart, once from this number and once from a different one. I wasn't home the first time.

Thoroughbred RE is a spammer company.
They try to pry information from you and can resell your ID.
DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM.
Companies like this often hire ex-convicted felons needing a quick buck.
Avoid IDENTITY THEFT and CON-Scams , REPORT spam callers to FCC, NO CALL, or your States Attorney General Office.
This Thoroughbred RE is all over many complaint list for their rotten tactics. Callers like this prey on the elderly, stop them by reporting them.
