I got it too. Hung up on them! Very heavy indian accent claimed that they were with Windows operating system and that  someone was using my IP address and they would walk me through how to fix it! Naughty boys

How do you report these phone calls.  I have been getting them more frequently.  Yesterday afternoon my ID said Michigan and just now it said Texas.   I told both them both times I did not believe them and thought it was a scam.   I would like to report these calls but do not know how.

Im having the same problem, these people claims to be from microsoft. A few weeks later they called me and ask me to access my computer, they just kept insisting and i let them. they did some things and then they left me in peace. yesterday i installed windows 8 and erase all things in my computer and today they are calling me saying they have to acces my computer one more time....It just seems suspicious i think they want to access it again because whatever they did or installed in my computer is not there anymore and they want to doit again...

Got a call and I said "hello" and it had an automated "goodbye" and hung up on me.

just received a call from 278-578-4258 claiming that their were from Microsoft Help Desk. They asked me to turn on my computer first (identifying me as a Mrs. Lawrence which is not my name). The person with an indian accent then proceeded to ask me to complete a set of steps accessing my computer manangement. Before I completed any steps, I asked directly "What are you attempting to access". The person refused to give me a direct answer and instead kept on repeating "Ma'am, we are trying to help you". and warning me that "My computer could crash at anytime".

I received a call March 18, 2014 from 278-578-4258 claiming to be with a company that has been helping with the repair of my computer.  I couldn't understand the company name and when I asked about and if he was calling America, he hung up.

sat there breathing. like i couldnt hear them. um hello? i am wondering if they were getting my ip address or something. is that even possible? either way they were creep city!!!!!

I got the call from this number and they claim to be working for Microsoft, and they claim to have a number for my computer that only they and myself would know and they wanted me to turn on my computer to prove it, but I refused and hung up the phone.

I just received a call from this number. I answered, said Hello a few times and they hung up.

Don't pay them any mind.  Just report them and document call and message.

Got a call and it was a computer that said "goodbye" .  No time for threats from these jerks. Defense time.

Just now got this call.  Please put an end to this crap if you can, I hate liars and they should be burned alive.  But thieves should be the firewood and coals.

Just got this call.  An automated message said, "Sorry" then hung up.  I did not call back, came here instead.

This number is represented as MICROSOFT by people with Indian accents.

I gotexactly the same call, would be good to know what is this all about.

Got a call this morning twice from a guy claiming he`s working in Microsoft New York Office and found my PC has got some virus form internet and would like to fix it. I don`t know whether this is true or not.
