number called me today urging me to call back in regards to a matter. I called back several times no answer just a machine. Not behind on any bills so this was weird, but after seeing these post i'm thinking its a scam.

I look up every number I don't know on Google. If I find that it's one of these, I save it to my phone as "Company Name - DO NOT ANSWER" and every time they call I simply slide my hang-up feature on my phone & hang up on them before my voicemail has a chance to answer.  Love the fact that I don't have to pick up and they don't get to run my battery down or leave a message!

This message continually calls the house. Won't tell us why or who they are calling. Frustrating.

I have been recieving these calls as well, for about a month now. I tried calling back many times and I am either stuck on hold listening to music, or a lady answers and is rude. I finally got fed up with it today and called. They told me they were looking for a Kimberly Barten and they would remove me from the list. I dont know if they were being honest or not, but if they start calling again- I will be very pissed.

These people are still at it with the same M.O.  please file a complaint to DOJ.  i just did and i'm on the do not call list.

Just got a call from them. Same thing everybody else is saying. Some sort of scam. Have also been getting calls (out of TX) that is a recorded message saying I'm recieving a call from someone I don't know. According to other people, that is listed as coming from the Department of corrections. Great, now I also have convicts calling me!

The jerk twits say they are debt collectors; no company name; a name of Larry White was left this thisphone number.   I wonder if he is like the other White I know who is the south end of a horse going north?

I would like to know a way to prosecute these twits operating out of a garage swindling people.

I get calls DAILY from this number!  I want to have them STOP calling, but they have a recorded message which is turned down so low I cannot understand what the number they SAY to call back.  It is NOT their number as they never answer!

Just got a call from this number and got the recorded msg to call them back. I did and waited on hold for 10 mins before an agent picked up.... Told the lady that I have been getting tons of calls from them and i wanted to know what the issue was....  It was the only contact number they had for someone who apparently had my phone number over 2 1/2 ago... The who was kinda rude but just repeated to me that she would list me as wrong number dialed... I asked her to make sure they didn't call again and all she said again was "wrong number dialed".... So much for me being nice and calling them to let them know they had the wrong number .....

I keep getting calls from this number and when he leaves a message you can never understand what the heck he is saying!

I did talk to someone and they have to "look at the # your calling from" & if you call from a non cell they won't TELL you why they called..

they are a company trieing to get personal information to use for fraudulant purposes.  they are pretending to be a collection agency so they can access your accounts & use your identity.  the message says its larry white to collect a debt.  there is NO name AND they only call cell phones

They have been calling my house a lot here lately. I just called them back and they were lookin for a lady that has managed to get my house number on all of her checks loans and everything. The lady I spoke to was very polite & said she would remove my number & I wouldn't be getting any more calls

I get at least 2 automated calls from them a day. Saying they are a debt collector, but I can't hear the number to call back wery well (sounds like it is the 281-385-8206 number) OR the name of the person. So here I am, I know of no bad debts that I have. And if they want me to call back, why would they not leave a toll free number to call? All collection agencies I have heard of would have a toll free number. No call back from me.

Interesting!  We keep getting phone calls from MJR Collections looking for a Lawrence White.  The problem is they call during the day when we are at work, so they leave a message.  We call back and tell them they have the wrong number, but the calls do not stop.  We don't know what to do

I keep getting a call from this number, stating that it is a debt collector. The man says to contact Larry White.  With all of the scams going on right now, I REFUSE to call this number back for fear that it may charge my phone bill some outrageous amount.  You would think that if it were clearly a debt collector that "NEEDED" to get in touch with you, at some point a "live" person would make the call. Right?

I keep getting debt collection calls from a Larry White at 281-385-8206.  They question if this is a business and if I have a fax number.  They say they don't see my phone number however they continue to call it and leave this automated message.  I say I am tired of receiving these Harrassing phone messages.  I don't have any past due debts.

They call my house all the time... Finally called them back they said they were looking for someone who I guess owned my number a few people before me. I told them to stop calling my house or I would report them and she instantly got nasty and said i wasnt scaring her and to put the person she was looking for onthe phoneLOL  telling me what to do!  This last time on an early Saturday Morning was the last straw!! I have sent my emails and have reported them for harrassment

Some man named Brian asked me to call him back and he said he was the state collection agency calling about debt, I've gotten calls like this from other companies, all looking for the same person who is not me, I've just gotten countless calls in the last few days asking to call back in regards to an important matter, they do not mention me by name or even who they are calling on behalf of.

I have receiving 3-4 phone calls a day from this number.  I've let it go to voicemail, and get a message saying this is Larry White, debt collector, extremely important you call us at 281-385-8206, etc.  When I answer, I get the same recorded message.  When I call the number, I get a busy signal.  No way to talk to these people.

I too have no receved two calls from this Larry  person from 281-385-8206.  I tried to call them back to clarify this matter,  all I got was a busy signal.   They are out of Texas and from the posts I have read here, this is most definatly a scam.  No reputable collectoin company is going conduct themselves that way.  I don't have any outstanding debt so I don't know what they are talking about, even if this is real  This Jessica seems like a real piece of work.

I can't believe this. Every new phone number we get ends up getting calls from these scammers in Baytown Texas. I cannot believe they haven't been shutdown yet.
