Who exactly are you asking to put them on your do not call list? Do you think we're magic genies here? If you have enough brains to find this website, you should be capable enough to know how to sign up for DNC, block numbers, and report them to the govt yourself.

They keep on calling me. Please put them on my do not call list. Thank you. I did not pick up because I did not recognize the area code and there was no name when calling either.

Answer them, and find out how they're trying to scam you, if you don't care to read the previous 11 pages of posts! A doopa,who writes in all caps.

DNC center is not doing their job...  I turned my fax machine on and if I don't recognize the number or if its not listed I don't answer.  If I don't pick up on the 4th ring they get screeching in their ear.   lol... if we don't recognize a number we should all pick up and scream in their ears...  lol

It's probably not quite that bad. The free cruise scammers ARE perpetual pests, but they remain completely harmless to all of us,  EXCEPT  those that are fooled into giving them their credit card number. Those of us who are aware of this scam need to let others know of it, before they become victims of these degenerates.

Stop harrassing calls!  What is the point of the do not call registry when telemarketers and scammers ignore it completely?

These people need to be sent to prison for life or get the death penalty.  The world has a greater right to be "safe" from these people than they do to live among the good people.

I get these stupid calls on my phone every few weeks. I put on a silence ringtone for unknown numbers to my phone. Only my contacts ring and the unknown numbers I put in  a search and if their scams then I Just block them so they Are wasting time calling me

Received a call on my cell at 7:05 pm. Obviously busy...did not answer....another scam call..no message left.

Received this call at 7:05 pm sunday night on my cell. Did not answer and message not left. Scammer is all I can think.

The "free cruise" scammers don't "have" anyone's numbers. They use a robodialer, which dials numbers in a sequential order.

Got a call from this # this evening on my cell, didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Hate that they have our cell numbers.

This person called my cell phone.  No message left; I strongly resent having my minutes wasted by this sort of inconsiderate action; I don't have money to throw away.

No, they're not. If you're on DNC, no one is allowed to cold call you. In particular, whether you are or not, no one is allowed to use a recorded message.

Your so right.. I've been on the dnc since its inception and the dang relatives, kids and grandkids are still calling along with all those pesky scammers, illegal robo calling telemarketers, frauds and extortionist..   It seems the DNC is only about keeping honest business's honest and doesn't stop the law breakers!  Sad indeed! If only I had actually read the info on it!  Those political calls, charity's and some of those survey's are not covered either - oh the irony of it! I just don't know what I'd do if those honest ones started calling also!

So I just keep filing complaints hoping that the FTC and FCC will catch those law breakers..

But I may someday decide to get a call blocker,  I hear the T-lock Incoming PRO Call Blocker sells for under 60 bucks on Amazon and can block up to 1500 numbers.

DNC is a joke!  Get a Digitone... be done with the crap.... period... no robo, unknowns, tele, spoofs, has VIP, after hours... best $ you will spend.. or go crazy... They hear 1 ring and disconnect, you hear nada.

hang-up call must be a robo dialer. The best way to get calls from people using short term VOIP or Cell access numbers is  to sign up for the DNC list. They know those numers are active.

Woke me up this morning! The DO NOT CALL list id useless!

I received a call as well, and it was on my mobile phone. Go to https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx the National Do Not Call Registry and file a complaint with the FTC.

Just got a call from this number and a woman was claiming to be from ?Health Check? and that my computer was sending out corruption error messages or something like that.  She wanted me to turn on my computer but since I am at work that?s when I cut her off.  Kind of scary since it sounds like they are getting better at this?

Robo call telling me that I had won a cruise to the Bahamas.  Obvious scam, as I hadn't entered any contests or drawings.  Hung up before the pitch was complete.

We don't have to personally wish the "free cruise" scammers take their own free trip to hell. After cheating, and trying to cheat so many people they'll end up there anyway. Eventually all the lowlifes will end up in the subterranean.

Got call today 9-26-13 on my cell phone.  Didn't answer though and no message was left.

I also do not answer if I don't recognize it - caller ID said it was a Cell phone in Houston - I don't know anyone in Houston - no message was left but the calls continue.
I have it blocked but it's still annoying
