Hello All,

I get these on my cell.  there are also a few other numbers they call from, but I deleted them.  I called back and she hung up on me.  I searched for this number on whiotepages.com and it says it's a cell number/Verizon Wireless/ in Texas.

an hour ago i got a call. this is the 3rd time they are calling me leaving no message.

Have received two calls beginning this morning at 7:15. Did not answer either. Am on No-Call list and only one person has my cell number, but they called on my cell phone.

I keep getting calls about an expired car warranty.  Finally I answered to get them to leave me alone (not sure what the number has been all these times, but last time (January 16, 2008) it was 281-520-3761.  The woman hung up immediately after I told her I didn't own a car and have never owned a car.  This call also came to my cell phone, which seems to be the pattern above.  When I called back, there was a busy signal.  I believe I'm on a do-not-call list, but can't remember for sure.  This is the only annoying call I get.  My called ID records on my phone go back to December 22nd, and the number 281-520-3761 never appeared in my phone records besides January 16, 2008, and I know I've received this call at least once since Dec 22, 2007.  Therefore, they are using many different numbers.

this is for Toyota warranty information my truck is 7 years old.  Have asked them do not call me again Can we do legal action against them

Call from 2815203761 @ 0304pm MST 01/16/08. . No answer, No voicemail, No answer on callback.. I'm telling you.. Its aliens.

Also received a call from this number but missed it.. tried to call back but only got a busy signal.. hope that they don't continue calling me on my cell phone

this person calls me 3 times a day and everytime i call back all i get is a busy signal.!!! make it stopp!

There are a few sites just like this.  It looks like it just started this month.  I received a phone call for the first time today and I am assuming it has to do with something from Craigslist.com.  I have been sending out resumes etc. to job opportunites but maybe its a possiblity one of this was a scam.  ANy of you been doing that?

#############I have been recieving several calls from this number.  I finally answered and had an automated phone message informing me of my expiring car warranty.  I chose to speak with a representative who answered asking me the year, make, and model of my vehicle.  I told the rep that I have a 97' Honda Accord.  He asked if this was my newest vehicle and told him yes.  He then hung up on me.  I do not have a warranty on either one of my vehicles.  It sounds to me that this is a company soliciting some kind of car warranty.#############

Just got a call from this number and figured I'd google it, since something similar happened last year where I was getting multiple calls a day from another scam group.

Didn't answer this call, and they didn't leave a message. I've learned not to answer unknown numbers that pop up on my cell.

I never answered, so no car warranty stories. My number is known only to family no record with business or any other institution other than my provider AT&T.  Extremely suspicious! I'm extremely paranoid though so believe government is involved in information gathering and triangulation.

Got several calls from this number.  Finally answered and pressed 1 to talk to rep.  I asked about what car they were speaking of and they said they could not tell me, only verify if I told them what car.  Asked them how they knew my car was out of warranty and they said they were refered by my dealer.  I asked what dealer (legitimate question cuz we have two cars from different dealers) and that is when they hung up.  Does anyone know how we can report these people because it a fraudulent phone call.  Please some one help.

Have missed calls from this number for the past couple of weeks. I finally got annoyed and looked this number up only to discover this website. I tried calling this number but got a busy signal. For what it is worth, I also live on the east coast. I am wondering what company sold our info?

Very annoying phonecalls all hours of the day to my WORK telephone.  As others have stated, they're referencing extension of a car warranty.  As soon as I hear the recording I hang up, but again after multiple calls it's extremely obnoxious.

i just got a call from this number 281-520-3761, they hang-up on me, and when I called back there is busy signals all the time. Looks like it is a calling card number

I worked at a call center before. You are not to hang up on the customer, and you can asked to be removed from the DNC/DNS list. If they don't abide by this, they need to be turned in to the FCC. I will be sure to turn them in to the FCC, I'm sure everybody out their is very fed up w/this.

Got this call on cell phone.  No ID-No message.  Only give # to friends and family.  same thing about 614-453-6303.  Is there a list somewhere that got out with cell numbers?

I'm in Michigan.  Are the others all Texas? Or Everywhere?

I do not know who the call is coming from, and it is becoming a nuisance. this is my personal mobile phone receiving these calls and i would like to know how my cell number is being circulated to solicitors.

I have no idea how they got my cell phone number but they annoy me to no end because they do not say who they are no one talks to you but a silly recording and I know for a fact that my car warranty is in no way expiring because you need a car for that to happen.  I don't believe a skateboard counts towards a car warranty.

I AM RECEIVING CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 281-520-3761 THE CALLS ARE COMING TO MY CELLULAR NUMBER AND ARE BECOMING QUITE A NUSANCE. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MY CELL NUMBER HAS COME INTO CIRCULATION FOR SOLICITORS.

I get a call once a day now for 2 weeks. How do I get them to stop. I called it and only get a busy signal.

I have gotten several calls about this (car warranty extension) too. The first time, out of curiosity, I chose the option to speak to a rep. since my car is now ten years old and has been out of warranty for some time. When I asked him where they got my number, he said they got it from the dealership. Since I didn't even have a cell phone when I bought the car, that is impossible. He insited that was where they got it.

I've had two calls recently from this number.  They come to my cell phone, which I do not have on me during the work day due to the nature of my work.  Each time, my voice mail picks up part of their automated message which then hangs when it gets no button presses in response.

Given the lack of response from Global Crossing and the FTC, anyone want to be part of a good beat-down session with the caller?  I can think of few more satisfying ways to use up some frequent flyer miles tickets.

This number is calling to my cellphone that is not good my cell is private.
