Person called saying they were the police. Contacted the police and said it wasn't them. This is a bogus line trying to get personal information

My friend's mom just called from this number! Her dad isnt with her mom, she's freaked! who's number is this?!

Received a call from the same number, but when I tried to call back, got a recorded message saying, "Your call cannot be completed as dialed...."  I found it odd though that the voice in the message sounded like an old chain-smoking mexican lady (didn't sound legitimate).  This is supposedly a landline in Dickinson, TX  77539, but who knows.  I am sure though that it is some pathetic little piece of s**t who has an incredibly insignificant life, who gets their kicks by crank calling people.  Probably a one of those miserable little nerds who taps around on their computer all day, reeking of BO, drinking sodas and eating chips, playing computer games, no girlfriend (Otaku), and wears week-old clothes and cannot go outside without wearing their black trench coat.  (Grandma's Boy type).  Someone should beat them to Hell.

Caller identified herself as Galveston County Clerk of Courts after asking for my boyfriend by name. Wanted me to divulge his mailing info. Told her she would have to contact him personally and she hung up without another word.

Called and when I called back it said the number was not in service. Using White Pages I reversed the number and it is a landline in Dickinson, Texas
