Vitelity called from Houston, TX 281-569-4558 I answered and they tried to sell me credit card protection and they mentioned smart shoppers savings club of which I joined and I immedicately cancelled about 2 months ago so they are giving out info to 3rd parties. Vitelity (on my caller ID) tried to give me a reward (which is double speak for signing me up for a trial offer for a credit card protection service) for being a customer in good standing with smart shoppers savings club. Less than 10 seconds into their speech they wanted my birth year of which I said no and then they asked if the number 81 (the numeric part of my email address) was my birth year NO sorry I never give my real birth year online not even to legitimate businesses!!!!
THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE that is for SURE!!! I will be pulling my own credit report and or putting it alert for now.

This is a scam/fraud from Vitelity LLC. They are trying to get your personal information by saying you owe them money or they have a free gift, etc. Do not answer the phone and if you do...DO NOT give out any information. They will even say they have a lawsuit against you in order for you to give them information about yourself. Again, this is a scam number and they are out to take your money, credit cards, identity...whatever they can.

We are registered on the "Do Not Call List". It is not working. Why do they have it if they are not going to enforce it? Why don't we a law that the Marketers have to register a Legal "Call ID" that appears on your phone when they call. They also should have a "registered No." that appears so we can reference that when we have file a complaint to the FCC or whatever the controlling agency if one exists.
