Got a call from 281-978-5854 saying my home based business had a disconnect notice for electricity. The first thing that tipped me off was he claimed he was calling from a company that I don't pay for electricity. When I asked him to provide me with the address that is going to get disconnected he hung up on me.

This American Cash Award guy called me in Iowa on Nov 12 with the same phone number (281-978-6541-caller ID from Texas) Telling me pretty much the same thing. I have to give this guy credit, at least it wasn't from Publishers Clearing House. He also told me that he was a Christian and he would not lie, except that he has been a Christian for 35 years. I toyed with the guy for a few minutes by telling him that I found his phone number on the internet and he kept telling me that his number was unpublished and was not on the internet. I finally hung up because I was annoyed by this entire event. If they can't give me the money first and then get his "delivery fee", then it should tell anyone that there is something wrong about the whole thing.

wow! this guy just called back and said that i could pay half the delivery fee now, and the other half when they deliver. So I ask myself, why cant they take all of the money after they deliver? answer: because they aren't delivering anything and 225 dollars is better than nothing. They get nothing. If they were giving away millions and Mercedes, they can afford their own delivery fees.

this guy called and said that i had won 2 million dollars and a mercedes. He wanted to know if I wanted to make it public or keep it private so I could surprise my wife. He said they would pay 99 percent of the taxes and all i would have to pay is 450.22. He wanted me to go to Wal-Mart and get a money card. He said that he would call me on my cell phone in about 5 minutes, while I was on my way to Wal-Mart.(I guess he didnt want to give me time to call BBB) I didnt answer my phone, while I was talking to BBB. He just kept calling, so I finally answered. I told him I would pay my own taxes after I recieved the winnings. Then his story changed, it was not for taxes, but for a delivery fee. They could not take a check or cash when they arrived. The winning amount also changed from 2 million to 2.5 million. I was kind of having fun wasting his time until he started saying that he swore on his 3 daughters lives, and also claiming to be a Christian. I finally told him that I don't pay scammers and hung up. He tried to call back a couple times but finally gave up. His name is Coby Valencia and another number he called from is (876)489-2188.
