Calls two - three times a day.  Never leaves message.  

I have received the same calls at least 8 times a day I'm going to turn the number into the police
for harassment

Have been getting cold calls from this number a lot lately.  Have been ignoring it, expecting it to be yet another credit collector.   Now that I'm reading what it's about, who can we turn this number over to so they can investigate possible phishing/hacking and fraud?

We have received three calls from 284-592-4357 within a few hours. He said he was from Microsoft and my computer was sending bad emails, he could help me if I followed his instructions. I told him he was full of s*** and hung up. He called back, I hung up on him two more times.

I also received this call claiming to represent Microsoft and would fix my computer from error messages.   Beware!

This call was very accurately reported by Art on a May 10 post. Eastern Indian accent man calling on behalf of Microsoft trying to "fix" my computer from error messages (none of which I was getting). They are trying to hack your computer and have you be the idiot to help them gain access to sensitive account information. I told him to remove my name and also blocked this number on my phone. Caller I.D. showed name as British Virgin.

Did not leave a message.  

Called several times. No message, reversed the call and wouldn't go through.  I suspect a scam.

Getting these calls as well.  How do we stop getting them?  Do we just answer and hang up, or not answer at all?  Thank you.

Got a call from 284-592-4357 at 3:59 PM (EDT) on Sat, May 10.  He said he was from Microsoft Windows and said we had a problem with our computer.  He wanted to help correct the problem.  Hung up on him.  Called back immediately.  Hung up a 2nd time.

Called and I answered the phone because of the caller ID just aid British, and I thought it might be about my British Airways card.  After a long wait, and young sounding guy with a heavey Pakistaniee or Indian accent came on and said his name was "Joe" (aren't they always named something like Joe!) and that a bunch of stuff was wrong with my computer and if I did't get it fixed by them soon .... but I didn't give him a change to finish.  I just told him to get his sorry a** back to Pakistan.

This number has called us multiple times over the last few days without ever leaving a message and I do not answer numbers that I either do not recognize, or that won't identify themselves on the caller ID.
