Have been receiving calls from this # and others for months. A reverse phone # search shows that it comes from the Hamilton Ontario area. Have never answered and they have never left a message. How can we block these calls from coming into our homes? Other calls come in from Vermont, Florida, Michigan etc. AAAAAH!

This number call me.  When I answered they hung up.  I called back and some lady answered.  When I asked her why she called me and hung up on me, she responded "No thank you, bye" and hung up again.  I called back again and there is no answer, no answering machine.  I dialed *67 to block my number and called them again a few times and when I do that I get an operator message indicating that the person is not available.  This is very sketchy.

Call the number listed and harras them back. It works! Its fun! you get to feel the same way they do when they do it to you. But seriosly call them and ask them to take your number off thier list and let them know if it is not done the police and the BBB wil be involved. Its the law, and its on your side with this sot of situation.

I think this young man is a very lonely person and can become desperate.  The authorities or his parents should be alerted.  I asked him why he keeps calling my number and he just replied: "Good day!" and hung up.  What a strange creature, I think he has too much money, watches TCM all day, eats take out, probably lives on a golden trust fund.  A really pitiable creature!

I just got this call saying they were a security system installation company.  I told them I already had security in my home, and he asked IF IT WAS MONITORED.  I said "yes, it's monitored" and he hung up.  I don't like the fact that he asked about monitoring.  If it wasn't monitored, would I be the next "break in" or "home invasion".  I will be passing this number on to the police.

Same number just called me, claiming to be a security system company.  The kid actually started laughing at me when I hestitantly said I was the homeowner.  He went on and because I continued to be hesitant answering his questions he laughed more.  I asked why he was laughing and he said it was because I had an attitude!!!  What kind of "sales person" insults a potential customer!!!

I get this happening to me too, every day. Calls and when I answer it clicks and hangs up. So I researched the name Digital Security Systems Hamilton and got this info:

Which pretty much gave the same automated "voice mailbox" message, I pressed in #230 for the call center and actually spoke to a real person, Told him that they've been calling me everyday, and it was annoying, and I wished for my number to be removed. he was courtous and nice and took my number and removed it from his system (so he says). So I'll have to see if this stops.

Telephone harrasment that's what it boils down to. My phone rings constantly even though I've placed my name on a blocked list. legally they should not be allowed to sollicit over the phone unless requested to by the owner. When will it end??????

Just got a call from them saying it was a security company and they wanted to speak to the home owner. When I said I was the home owner they hung up. Whats up with this?

Calls and asks for the homeowner.  I say "yes how can I help you".  Then the person hangs up.  Bizarre.

called in afternoon and wanted to speek to either Mr. or MRS._____. Female on other end knows the persons name, but phone connection was so poor you could not hear what they were saying. Ended call because it was a waste of time. Only phone number displays on caller Id.

called me around 830pm on a friday, I answered, then they hang up?
I called this number back, it replies with a message saying the person is unavailable and you can leave a message

Called at 8pm on Friday night - told my husband it was a security system company.  My husband told him we already have an alarm system and then he hung up.

CALLED ME LEFT MESSAGE "LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATES ...bla bla bla

Keeps calling with no one on other end, annoying.

We do have a no caller list in Canada...but how good is it ....I think these calls are definitely computer generated and the phone providers (all of them) are unable to control it.  Call privacy...only works for a little while.   I just p/u and say nothing.  
One from 905 111 1111 stated they were Bell Canada...how's that for service...I'm paying them to have them give my name to a tele marketer.

I think the CRTC's choice of Bell to administer the do not call list is a joke.  It's like leaving the fox in charge of the henhouse.  I've found that one of the biggest phone pests is Bell.  Is that the best they could do?  Maybe it's time for the CRTC to disband.

Maybe you all need some tips from telemarketers to get rid of them..LOL
