Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I GOT A CALL FROM +301 AND +5011 SIMULTANEOUSLY WITHIN SECOND AND MISSED BOTH

Just had the number call and he said that they had recieved alot of critical errors from my computer so I told him we had antivirus and he was talking alot of b***s*** and he told me it was my business computer so I fired a few choice words at him seeing as I was at home and do not have a business computer so he started trying to shout his speel at me again and told me not to hang up...so I hung up!!

Been getting calls from this # 1-301-000-0000 for the last couple days. Don't even know it's even possible to have a all 0s' phone #. We are very angry and frustrated with these calls from God knows who/where even after registering with the National do not call registry!

Same thing here -- numerous calls from this number -- once I leave work today, I'm going to answer and blow a whistle in the a-hole's ear -- hopefully he'll go stone-deaf and will stop telemarketing

I got the same number +301, and I replayed ... she was women saying that she is from a company and they have job opportunity... In addition, before this call by about half an hour I got call from Unknown (no number), but I didn't replay.
I don't remember the name of their company...

The same irritating/disturbances that the writers above quoted had faced, call coming from the unknown number starting with +301, many a times for the last one week. If picked up no voice/response is heard.

I have picked up n a boy has spoken hello but immediatly I disconnecte......

Do you have Caller ID? This is your first line of defense. If you see a name and/or number (or no number) that you recognize, do not pick up the call! If you do pick up, hang up immediately. If you should hear the message, and it tells you to press a button, hang up immediately. Then report the call to 800notes and the FCC DNC complaint site. The fewer calls you pick up, them more the robo-callers will think that your number is not a working number (I read that right here on 800notes.)

my girl friend had the same problem today that someone called twice an she picked up wile I was there an there was nothing I called sprint an there was nothing they could do as they said it might be a bill collector or telemarketer calling from a 3rd party an useing the number 301 as there number ....I do know that if people call you more than 3 time thats harasment an is a criminal charge if you call the cops,,

I received the same call about five minutes ago.  The only numbers that showed up was 301 and nothing else. This number has been calling me all week. So, finally I decided to answer and it was a man with an extremely heavy accent of some sort. He claimed that the government was going to give me $7,000, completely tax free, and I won't ever have to pay it back. He then continued to tell me that it was because I've never filed bankruptcy, I have never been convicted of a felony, and because I pay my bills on time. Then there was something about a demographic survey of some sort. I politely, and I do have to stress politely, told him that I was not interested. He started to raise his voice and gave me the whole spill all over again. I told him once more that I was not interested. He started to shout at me saying, "It's free money, right?! Why wouldn't you want it?!" I told him that I don't believe in free money from suspicious characters who call from numbers that I cannot trace, cause I refuse to get bit in the a** for other people's scams, then I hung up on him as he started to shout his spill all over again. After that, I received about four more calls, until finally it stopped.

Am in Toronto. Call today from 301 - as per call display. Was curious so answered. When I picked it up, a few seconds of dead air and then a recorded female voice said Good Bye, and the call disconnected.
