My call ID is full of this one number... How do I make them stop.

Daily i recv 3-5 miss calls from this particular number.Hope this report might help me to get rid from this harrasment.

well, i just started using this service, i hope there is no scam in this.
about 10days back i got call ,
he explained that this is no voip, they will be my longdistance calling provider for land line , and cellphone. He said after 10days i will get email confirming my activation.
Since i didnt got email i called them , and they said my service was activated 2days ago.
I said i need some kind of confirmation about this plan thru email ( she said i am telling you it is ) i said no i want email , took my email id , but no email yet.
She said i can call 1866xxxxx number thru my cellphone and then dial the india number ( works fine ), and  thru landline dial india number directly ( doesnot work, i get message to enter access code after the longdistance number).
I have subscribed, but hesitating to use this service....need to see on monday with support.

this guy vinod called from this number 301-392-8181 several times with a India unlimited calling plan of $69.95 from a company called Convergia. I went to the convergia website and found no such plan like that listed like that.

I am getting too many calls everyday from the number 301-392-8181. It's so frustating, and I am just surprised how someone can do this and we can't do anything. I am seriously considering to file a police complaint. There goes again ---- getting call again from same number. This guys will rot in hell for sure.

FU Vinod and all like you.  Anyone who makes their living at phone spam is no better than those who make their living at e-mail spam. If I want it I'll call you.  If I haven't called, you should never, ever call me, full stop period!!!  If you do not respect other people you will never receive it from them.

I threatened them saying that I am registereed on DO NOT CALL list and if they call me again I will report them to FCC. It seems to stop the calls.

Why won't they stop calling????  They call me about 8-10 times per day for the past week now.  And the first couple times I picked up, no one talked to me, so I hung up.  I tried to call back, and of course no one answered.  Now I just ignore the calls (8-10 a day), but they are driving me crazy!!  I am already in the Do not call list, and clearly that doesn't work.  Anyone know how to block a number??

today i got a call from the same number..
and i attended that call i could not remember that guys name exactly he said prithvi or parthu
he asked about my spending on indian calls i said tell me what is ur deal
and he said the amount and i said ok then he said why dont u repsonse when i am asking some thing and he said Fu*** Bas**** and hang up
Is this the way they talk why should i answer them frankly speaking ...
I am going to complain this to local police about abusement..
now they will know what will be the consequences...

MY BOSS HAS BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER, WE JUST COUNTED ON HIS PHONE THEY WERE ALL 10 MINUTES OR LESS APART.  HE IS INDIAN, BUT HAS NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE, WE CALLED THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY TO BLOCK TELEMARKETER CALLS.  1-888-382-1222.  IT MAY HELP?

Even though i'm not responsible for your so called harrasment
i sincerely apologize for what "i" was blamed..

Fact is the that all the telemarketing calls will be through software based internet phone
where we people don't even know whom we are going to speak with untill we get the
details poping up on the computer screen.since its automatic dialing....the software is
desingned so that it will redial that number automaticallyafter some time untill  someone on the other end responds.

my kind suggestion to avoid your implicit frustations..
1. register your number with DNC
2.pick the call at least once and respond..(for we are also humans.)if first time no one responds make a note and disconnect the next time.  
3.l request do not  use unneccessary languages if you are not interested tell us and we will stop calling you by removing your name.


and my humble request..all the above said are truth. and if you feel i'm contradictory by any means in so sorry.... i know that if you are not there i won't have job here. i'm really proud of you... so forgive and suggest me what to do instead discussing among yourselves.

i have been getting calls from this number since 5 days and today its been more than 10times i got call,i have voip phone
and i called them to find out if v can bar the call and they said either o can change the number or report to local police
i guess whoever is suffering from this harrasment should report to local police

I am getting calls from 301-392-8181.  Caller id showing DHANUS.  Can somebody how can I stop.  I called this number back, but nobody picked up.

received call from 301-392-8181 on 11/19/2007.   Caller asked for Becky, told him she doesnt work here any more, asked who he was with, would not say.  Told him not to call again.

Today, I too got a call from this number. I called again to know who has called. No one has answered this call.

I also got several calls from this number. When I called back no answer. But finally I got hold of them. It is from telemarketors from India. Calls to India
cheaper. Some freedom calling plan or something like that. I told him to take out number from the list and since then I did not calls.

Wow he such a nice guy!!!! calls often giving some suggestion on how to improve personality devlopment!!! keep listing to that @#$@#$

Called me twice. First time he spoke to me in Tamil and he told me he is from Chennai, India calling on behalf of Convergia. I asked him to send me the information over the mail and gave them my personal id . so far no mails and someone else called me again and i told him harshly to take my name out his calling list and he hung up. B*****s. I think these people get the cc number if possible and cheat. noting more.

I got call from this number yesterday. The guy told me his name is vinod and this is regarding the unlimited calling to India for $69.00. He also said there is no hidden charges, no taxes and no cancellation fee. I thought this is a very good offer as I spend like 300 bugs on India calls every month. When I asked for the webisite he said its convergia.com but cannot sign up through the website. I have to sign up on the phone. I asked him to call me back after 2 days. But after seeing above comments I doubt their legitamacy. Can any one who have subscribed tell me about this calling card.? thanks.
