Interesting page...
I got a call yesterday from 1-231-732-2009 and showed up on caller ID as coming from Michigan. I answered, and it was a recording trying to sell me a Cancun vacation.
I hung up, and 3 minutes later got a call from 1-301-392-8250 and it showed up on caller ID as coming from Maryland, trying to sell us discount airline tickets.
I live in Canada, and our number is private. Can count on one hand the amount of people that have it, and we have had the same number for over 10 years with no solicitations coming to it.
I found it odd, though, that we got two calls back to back. I just hope they don't have something set up that flags your number if you answer and you get more calls because of it.

Called here yesterday as well, not for the first time. I too live in Canada and it is a recorded message as stated above about a fabulous vacation. Would love to take them out and have them all shot.

Recorded call on my machine. I live in Canada - how did these people get my number. They wanted to give me a fantastic sounding vacation - but they didn't leave a company name. Rule of thumb, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

20 minutes ago. I filled out the form here: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do (thanks Ern, I will visit again and again). Is there any other way to fight back here? I must say, the "filling out of the form" gave me no joy.

Got the call on Oct 31st at 2:24pm CST.
Recording informed me that my car warranty was about to expire, and that I urgently needed to talk to a rep about extending the warranty.
I was told that if I didnt sign up, my family could be mutilated by undead rogues and then cannabalized. I am very scared... i need to pop preception or get paranoia buff right away!!!!

Someone has given our business phone number for some vacation package. Although I spoke to someone there, and told them to remove our number from the list. These calls are quite annoying, and I would like them to stop.

When I pick up the phone there was no response.

This was an unauthorized pre-recorded telemarketing call (which, by the way, is illegal.) The recorded message urgently informed me that the call was their third attempt to follow-up on a post card they supposedly sent me about my car warranty. (This is the same old schtick used on many of these illegal recorded calls.)
This call was from a Verizon-provided line in La Plata, Maryland. This is at least the second time I've received a call from this same telemarketer in recent months. This was apparently a randomly-dialed call with a prerecorded message, which is entirely illegal. If you get one of these calls, you may want to report them to the FCC (which enforces the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act.) Filing a complaint is easy and you can do it online here: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

Received a phonecall from an automated system saying I'd been referred to them by a friend. Trip to Cancun Mexico and then Disney World. Up to 4 people at $299 each.
Press 1 to accept or 3 to decline.
I pushed 3. I'd love to know what company this is.

This was my second time getting a call from these people. It's for a "free" vacation. First time I asked for a number where I could get back to them after I think about it, they said I had to choose right away or the offer would expire. I hung up.
