missed the call

Have received many many calls from this phone number, but they never leave a message.  they call as much as four times per day.  We are on the DNC list, have never done business with this company (nor have any of my neighbors), and if, as a previous poster claims, they are in College Park, they are a long way from where I am so it seems silly for them to be calling.

We are on the Do Not Call List and a rep from Washington Home Remodelers in College Park, MD called us from this phone number.  They do have a website, but do not list this as their phone number. They are members of the BBB (with some complaints).  I called back and told them to take us off their calling list.
They agreed and said they get many of their phone numbers from lists of members from BJs, COSTCO, etc., but we are not members of any of these warehouse clubs.  Will try to make a formal complaint if we hear from them again.

I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and have never had any business with them.

Called me in the Washington DC area, no message left

A person identifying herself as Ms Green called (caller ID gave me the number/name) and said she wa a representative of a company doing home repair on my street.  After I asked for whom, she replied #17 (my street goes all the way up to 7).  I replied, "Now Ms Green, I've caught you..." Before I finish my sentence or ask her to remove me from the calling list she simply hung up.  I called the number back - no answer.  I called from my cell and a man answered who professed to me that he wasn't required to check the FTC-DNC list, despite never having had any business with me.  I explained the law and hung up.  Then I went back to caring for my 5 and 1 year olds.

Repeated calls from this company "Washington Mortgage Services, Inc" until I told them to stop and warned them about no established business relationship, being on the DNC list, etc. They called as much as 3 times per day.
