received 2 messages claiming to be irs. saying I have a past refund of 2173.00 being directly added to my account. It was confusing and a down right lie. They want your bank info so they can steal from you. It should be illegal for anyone to pose as a government official. so why are these people not in jail? I want to report this and do something for all of the innocent people who have been lied to and stolen from and bring these scam artists to justice! if anyone has any insight on how I may go about this, please share.

This number left an automated message from the internal revenur service informing me that I had an additional amount of $2170, that will be directly added to my account after I verify information.........
No, Thanks I have a close family member that works for the IRS and they DEFINATELY do not work that way. The scamers need to go get some real J-O-B_S

Called my cell phone. A recording said it was the IRS Tax Refund Dept and I had a big refund that I needed to call a phone number for more information. The IRS does not work like that.
