Report it to local police and local attorney general.

Next time they call tell 'em in no uncertain terms that you know its a fraud, you've reported them and then tell them to go to hell!  Do it very loudly.

Call blocker might be helpful.

You cannot be arrested for ordinary civil debt.  Nobody but a judge can issue a warrant and it is only issued in criminals cases to the local law enforcement people.  

They are trying to scare you. Don't let 'em,

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 301-654-0905, ON MONDAY 24TH OF MARCH 2014. I WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO ANSWER THE CALL. A STRONG WOMEN'S VOICE LEFT A MESSAGE ASKING FOR MY WIFE, SAYING THEY WERE GOING TO FILE AT THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE. MY WIFE IS DISABLE AND IN A WHEELCHAIR WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY MONEY OWED BY US. I CALLED THE NUMBER AS I WAS CURIOUS AND SUSPICIOUS OF FRAUD, THEY ASKED FOR MY NAME AND I GAVE IT TO THEM. THEY SAID THERE WAS NO CASE ON MY NAME OR PHONE NUMBER. I TOLD THEM THAT ELIZABETH JAMES HAD CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE. THEY SAID, SHE WAS A LAWYER WITH THEIR LAW FIRM. I KNOW SOMEWHAT ABOUT FILING CIVIL DOCUMENTS IN COURT. NO ATTORNEY IS GOING TO CALL YOU SAYING THEY ARE GOING TO FILE SOMETHING AT THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE. THESE PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS AND PREY ON THE INNOCENT AND MANY TIMES GET AWAY WITH THE FRAUD. I CALLED BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO GATHER MORE INFORMATION, AND EACH TIME THEY HAD A DIFFERENT ANSWER. ONE CALL BACK THEY ANSWERED AS McDONALD'S. THE OTHER THEY ANSWERED AND SAID I HAD THE WRONG NUMBER. SECOND TO THE LAST CALL, A WOMAN PRETENDING TO BE A LAW FIRM MANAGER, TOLD ME IN A HARSH TONE TO STOP HARASSING THEIR LAW FIRM. THE FBI AGENT ( I CALLED) AND I GOT A GOOD LAUGH ABOUT THEIR INVESTIGATIVE FRAUD DIVISION THEY CLAIMED, AND THAT THEY AS A LAW FIRM WERE BEING HARASS. I IDENTIFIED FIVE DIFFERENT VOICES, 4-WOMEN, BETWEEN AGES IN THEIR LATE TWENTIES AND EARLY FORTIES. 1-MAN, AGE BETWEEN LATE TWENTIES AND MID-THIRTIES.

Got the same call last week and another one today. Said they had an affidavit from my bank stating I got a payday loan, funny though my statements from 2012 don't show anything and when I called the bank they didn't know anything about it. Just don't answer.

This company called my mom today threatening her as well a lady named ashley taylor with ext. 302. I'm not sure if this will help out anyone else but all I know is I'm happy I found this information out considering my poor mother was beyond upset. shes 55 and they are making her worry shes going to have a warrant for her arrest. crazy! Does anyone know of any information to go about reporting this company to get them off the market and to stay out of our homes ?? any information is much appreciated.

This number called me three times leaving voicemails everytime, i then called back and they said they were some attorney investigation and they thought i was some jamie martin, i then said no my name is amanda martin and i have no idea who that is and asked where they were located and they said maryland, im not from that state and dont know that girl or guy and told them to stop calling my phone and they asked how old i was and i told them and they said okay nevermind and hung up on me. This number needs turned in and found out what is going on. Tired of the calls

Got a call from this number yesterday, didnt answer just got the message.  Then today it was from a different number
301-358-9346.  Different lady telling me the same thing.  Just ignored it.

Re 3-26-14, 817 AM; 905 AM, and prox 910 AM, I rec'd a call from 301-654-0905.  She had all my correct identification and dumb me, I confirmed what she had.  She threatened to turn me in for criminal action - said I had a $300 check out since November, 2012.  I told her she was the fraudulent one.  I called her back to get her name and she mumbled, I think, Melissa Williams from Dunn & Folies; then she started screaming at me and asking "Are you Sharon Carter?  What is your lawyers name?  You need lawyer....".  I turned her into the Sheriff, my bank and Transunion credit, for fraud.  The sheriff said it is best not to answer, as her calls will start escalating, but I will NOT answer.

Another scam company on the loose!!!!!!  Told them to do whatever they felt like, I am sick of dealing with these people.  Never even heard of the company he is trying to tell me I owe!!!

They told me that they were a fraud unit....hmmmm, guess they need to some up with a new storyline!

I also received a phone call from this number claiming that I owe on a payday loan from 2012.  I have never even heard of the company Everest Cash Advance.  I would think that if I actually did take a loan from them that it would take 2 years to collect if not paid back.  Nothing that they said made sense.

Said they where private investigators with the states attorney office not true I checked with our police department.
