I do not recognize this number. Caller called my home phone twice this evening (5:28 and 7:45).  No one spoke to me either time; hang-up call. I am sure I have received hang-up calls from this number at other times recently.

Two 'empty' messages on my answering machine. Both times had 'call center' chatter in the background.

I did not pick up and they left a message on our home phone but it was... "Hello?" 'click'. I tried to call them back on my cellular and all I got was an automated message saying the line had been disconected. My cell phone has a number locator on it and located the number in New Market, MD.

I got a phone call tonight (early evening) (2-17-09) from this number for a donation to Special Olympics.  I usually give to this cause but lately there has been suspicious activity with this cause and I have become leary about their recruitment techniques.  The call came from Maryland and it is about the fourth time that I have seen that number on My call ID when I wasn't home.

Calls daily... annoying. Does not leave message. Quit calling!!

I've been getting this call every night and have not answered. The ID says Medallion. I have donated to MS before and other charities as well.

301-882-9973 Called every night till we answered...would not speak to me....asked for my wife but hung up when I said not available....were on the do not call list as well....

I did not recognize number so did not pick up.  They did not leave a message.  I'm on the do not call list.

So tired of these people calling my office. They will call repeatedly until I finally have to be rude and tell them to stop. They claim their purpose is a "community service project". Every time they call it is for a different disease/ailment/disability/cause that they want money for. They will stop calling, but only for a few weeks and then start the whole process all over until I realize it's the same people and tell them to stop calling yet AGAIN. UGHHHHH!

Got call but they hung up before I said hello.  There is a sucker list of people who give to charities?

Forgot to say that this may be a scam.   They may only be pretending to represent a charity.

They are soliciting donations for charities.  They have been given numbers of people who have contributed to various charities in the past.  Mine was on behalf of the muscular dystrophy association.
