Same thing. Broken english lady. Call is from Lyons, CO. Sounds like shes been there for well over a year based on earlier posts.

It's a Life Insurance company. Not big deal. they are looking for outside reps. Is it legit? Who knows. Why people freak out and quickly say it's a scam without proof is funny. Everyone is a victim before they can prove it. Ha ha. www.bankers.com
Maybe they scam the old people they solicit insurance to but we don't know that

I received the same message as all of you. I have responded to some job postings on craigslist as well as posting my resume on career builder.com. Some lady, broken English, and bad call reception saying that her boos "tony" came across my resume and wanted to offer me a position. Not going, not interested and had my hackles raised before I conducted this search.

I am so glad I googled this!!
I got a call with the same broken-English lady you all describe. It sounded like a bill-collector, so I'm glad I hung up!

It's not an actual "scam," but it definitely isn't what they are promising on the call. Don't bother. My guess is the person that "can't wait to work for them" is actually a representative of the company.

Posted resume to Monster.com few day ago and get a voicemail, not from this number but a local number, but same message.
She claims to be in a town 45 minutes from me. I heard "Bankhurst life and casualty company" but further Google searching suggests "bankers life and cash royalty", guess it depends on how well her Skype connection is working. The number she called me from was 301-357-8798, to make it look local to me, and she even claimed to be calling from a town in which this extension does not exist.

Well, if you define a "great job" as one where you get paid to shill on internet sites devoted to outing scams, then maybe we don't want a job like that -- UNLIKE YOU!
Funny stuff. Got any more?

I recieved a call from the very same number just a couple of hours ago. I have been job searching and sending my resume via e-mail on craigslist, I believe that is where this person got my number. I think it's a scam as well because I did not recieve a voicemail which is odd because employers usually leave a message if interested. I searched the number and have not come across and legit buisness listings. I did call the number back and I got voicemail from the same "company" w/the woman speaking on it with the same description.

I too just received a call from the same number, a lady with broken English, sounded like her name was Ameryl Parker from Bankhurst life & cash. Said her manager found my resume on line and wanted to know if I may looking for new employment. Please call her at 303-209-0071. Sounds really weird and has my red flags going up. Glad I looked up the number and came across this. I am not calling back.

I think I'll have to agree with you guys. I am in Denver now, but when I first got to Colorado I was in Colorado Springs. Had something similar happen, their angle down there was door to door sales, and they wanted you to buy their products and then go out and sale. "Seemed" profitable, but am a bit smarter then that, plus I was pissed cause I dropped $50 already just getting to the interview and back.
But I believe the good old phrase "Am getting to old for this s***" applies.
GL everyone!

Just received a call from the same number and a lady with broken English as well. Sounded like Bankhurst Life and Cash Royalty but hard to say what she was really saying. I told her I would call her back but I don't plan to. I think its a scam as well. She said we would like to offer you a sales position with our company but she hasn't even interviewed me yet.
kitkat 2011-01-11 18:22:52 Unknown
So all of these messages seem to me like it is a scam for sure. I just got a call from the lady who was saying the same exact things to me as she did to everyone else. Fishy to me for sure! Not calling them back!
putinga 2010-12-17 22:34:32 Unknown
Hi, I just got a call today, and it seems a little sketchy all the training and the big opportunities of this person who's calling and it was a woman as well with broken English. I don't think this a legit company it's a scam. I'm glad that I search up the number otherwise I would had go to the interview and waste my time.
Beware people of Craigslist because not all ads are safe!
GHH 2010-11-19 05:02:14 Unknown
I also got this phone call from a women who she wanted me to go tomorrow friday to an interview. I told her I would be there. Her english was broken and didn't understand alot of what she was saying. I went to google to search more on this phone number 303-209-0071 and 720-939-9959 but by reading other peoples comments it makes me not want to go to this interview.

Just got a call from some woman who said she found my resume on line she wanted to discuss employment opportunities with some life insurance company. She spoke broken english and I didn't understand much of what she was saying so I told her I was not interested....Sounds like a SCAM!!!
TC 2010-10-21 21:53:28 Unknown
Is interesting that it came up on my phone as "White Wave Food". Looked them up and they are a non-profit. Wonder if they know someone is using their phone service to solicit for Banker's Trust.
Dgirl 2010-10-08 01:10:22 Unknown
I just got a call from a woman who said she found my resume online and claimed she wanted to discuss employment opportunities with me. She spoke in broken english but it sounded like Bankhurst life and casualty company. A quick google search came up with Bankers life and casualty so I was interested, but with more research I found many people who received to get a similar calls all over the country. Beware, this sounds fishy!!!
