I have received NUMEROUS calls from same company using different numbers.  They offer a service to lower interest rates...I have demanded NUMEROUS times to be removed from the call list.  My cell number is registered on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  I have filed two complaints with the FCC - This is absolutely rediculous.  When I have asked to speak with a supervisor the live caller hangs up on me.

Some of this is a copy. We can make a difference. Go ahead and try to talk to them, take up as much of their time as possible; make their time spent unprofitable. Use creativity to keep them on the line as long as possible to waste their time. Possible suggestions for achieving this:
Agree with them completely, act like you DO really need to lower your bills monthly payments.
Ask questions. Many, many questions
Pretend that you are trying to find paperwork
DO NOT give them any of your information - they are scammers, they will use it to steal or profit from you. Give them fake info so you can get their company name, number, or address.

    Something eles you can do is Call your phone carrier... if they get hundreds of thousands of complaints. They may take some effort to stop these type of annoying calls.
Don't lie about the frequency of the calls, because they can pull up your records, but they have problems bring up unanswered calls.             Please copy this and put on as many websites as you can, ........ if every one called there phone company at the least 4 times a month all calls will give the option of being taken of the list.

If you can't block the number or forward it to something like a movie time recording, your phone may allow you to id the number as SPAM and assign NO ringtone to it so it doesn't bother you.  I had to do this since I can't block it.

Solve this problem with a SILENT ring tone.
To do this use the record option on your phone. Record SILENCE for 1 second. Save the phone number that you want and assign the name "Do not answer". Assign the silent ring tone to this number.

After that when they call you will not be bothered because you will not hear a ring as it is silent.  The only way you know they called is when you look at your phone and see that you missed a call. When you see the missed call was from "Do not answer" you can just laugh.

Got 4 calls from this number today and never knew it because I have the number as a Silent ring tone.

Does not block the call but otherwise solves the problem.

Just as with previous unwanted calls for both my home phone and cell, I have placed this number on the "blocked call" list. Encourage all of you to check out this feature since most phone providers offer it in some way.  I have lost faith in the National Do Not Call process but then what can you expect from anything remotely conncected to our government.

Yep I got a Chip Wright name also. Dont bother with DNC list. Its a joke. I get calls anyhow. Just hang up or dont answer. I like the idea of revealing any and all personal info about Chip.!! Hahahah

Received a call from this number a few weeks ago but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Again i'm on the do not call registry but still get these types of calls.

ATTENTION EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN HARASSED BY THESE CALLS.  I may have found a solution to these annoying calls.  All you will need to do this is one very inexpensive item: an air horn.

I used to get calls from these people 3-5 times per week over the last 3 months.  Every time they call it is a different number but it's always the same recorded message from "Card Services" about qualifying for low interest rates and to press 1 to talk to a representative.

On the 9th of January they called and I requested to be put on their do-not-call list.  They quickly hung up on me before I could finish my sentence.  Sure enough, they ignored my request and called back on the 12th.  This time, I got fed up and pressed 1 to talk to a representative again and when they got on the phone, I immediately blasted them with an air horn.  Since then, I have had no calls at all!  I haven't heard a peep from these clowns since the 12th.

A friend of mine was also getting these calls about as frequently as I was and I told her to do the same thing.  She too has not heard from them since she let them have it with an air horn.

My advice to everyone here is to buy an air horn and use it every time these people call until they stop.  You can buy an air horn at any dollar store for $1.  I have heard of others using whistles as an alternative.  I can't guarantee this will work for everyone but it is totally worth a shot as it seems to have worked for me.  It's also a great way to fight back against these morons.

I would also like to put down on record that I do not condone or recommend using an air horn against legitimate telemarketers.  I only condone using one against scammers like these people who don't adhere to the law and are seemingly getting away with harassment with no consequences for their acitons.

Got a call from 303-217-1074 on Jan 9 but didn't answer the phone because I was busy. When I called back a recording stated that Mike Anderson's mailbox was full. Today I got a call from 909-374-9789 (Pomona, CA) but no one replied when I answered it & then they hung up. I called back & low and behold I got the same recording about Mike Anderson's mailbox being full! WTH?? Really pissed me off because I work nights & sleep during the day which is when these dummies call & wake me up. In the past I've actually been able to talk with a live person from Card Member Services by pressing "1" during the recording but when I ask how they got my number or if I ask to have my number removed from their database they always hang up on me right away. This is rediculous. Don't know how they got my cell phone number & I'd hate to change it since I've had it for 10+ years. Oh, I did receive a couple of texts a few months ago from two different payday loan places asking if I wanted to apply for a loan. Luckily those have stopped, thank goodness.

This makes OVER 100+ calls from a telemarketer that we have informed you about.  We are senior citizens with a fixed income and a LIMITED call time...they idiots are using up our minutes by making these calls.  Are you EVER going to do something about them????

Received 2 calls no message from this number the day after christmas. Also received 2 calls no message from the number 206-214-5578 the same day.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer they hang up.  They call 5 to 10 times a day then nothing for a few days.  Then it starts again on and on and on.  These people need a life!  Scum!

Called me this morning 11:00 am didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.  Also received 2 calls from another scammer 312-765-7460 Don't answer this one either.  Today at lunch I am registering my cell under the DO NOT Call registry.

I too have verizon. This is not the only # that has called me that I've come on the computer to check out. This is the 2nd # where someone has mentioned Mike Anderson. I get calls from different numbers almost every day and when I search them almost all of them end up being some kind of scam. This seems to be happening to a lot of people a lot lately. I wonder if there is a way to make it all stop, it's very annoying. I never answer a # I don't recognize but hearing my phone ringing needlessly all the time is a pain.

I WAS CALLED FROM 302.217.1074 ON 1-13-2010 AT 4:05 P.M.    AUTOMATED MESSAGE SAYING THIS IS THEIR FINAL ATTEMPT AT CONTACTING ME RE: CREDIT CARD DEBT...SO I PUSHED 1 TO SPEAK TO A "FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE," I WAS CONNECTED AND ASKED IF I WAS CALLING ABOUT THE AUTOMATED MESSAGE, I SAID YES AND I HAVE NO DEBT AND NO CREDIT CARD.....BEFORE I COULD GET THE  WORDS "PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST," I WAS HUNG UP ON.GRRRRRRRRRRR, CALLED THE NUMBER BACK, AND YES AS YOU CAN IMAGINE IT IS NOT A "WORKING" NUMBER...SO HERE I AM...MAD AS HELL!!!

How can I block this caller in the future?

I have been receiving calls for over a year.  any time you go to talk to anyone they hang up   how can we stop them?

Same for me! Asked me to press 1 but I didn't. And then the call disconnected. This is not the first time!!!

I get at least 5 of these call a day i have asked them not to call but they continue to do so
