I worked for Apogee for about a month.  They do NOT ask for money.  Just clothes and other household items.  And I quit because there was no way to make the donars happy.

We actually give 100% of what your items are worth believe it or not. All the money earned from selling the items in thrift stores go straight to the charity.

I got a call from this number at 3:17 PM on March 19, 2014.  The caller ID read Pickup Charity.  They were calling to see if I had any items available for donation because a truck would be in the area to pick up the stuff.  

I got a call from this number today at 3:17 PM.  The caller ID read Pickup Charity.  The woman I spoke with said she was calling on behalf of Healing Minds and told me that there would be a donation truck in my area on a certain date.  She wanted to know if I had anything to donate to help those dealing with mental illness.  I wonder if these people really are associated with Healing Minds, or if they are really just scammers.

I got a call from this number this afternoon at 3:31. I answered and quickly hung up. They did not call back or leave a voice mail.

No name on caller id, just a number.  An honest outfit would not do that.

I worked for them for awhile and actually really enjoyed my job because the donations really do go to help people and thats what it is all about!!! The people your donations help is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way they are NOT telemarketers. THANK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY

Called again at 2017 hours. Too bad i used the siren on them

They keep trying to come to my house. I don't trust them, they hire criminals.

I received a call from this number at 8:15 last night.  I do not answer calls where the number is one I do not recognize.  They did not leave a voice mail and did not call back.  

This number called me tonight at 8:09 and the man on the other end said he was calling from Healing Minds and that they would have a donation truck in our area.  I told the guy I do not donate to organizations that ignore the Do Not Call list and hung up.

I am on the state and national no-call lists.  These people call 2-3 times a day, late at night and on the weekends.  They never leave a message nor their company name.  I have taken to hanging up on them.  I would like to file a complaint and will see if I can block their number.  Any help you can provide to communicate to the vendor would be appreciated.

When I'm feeling playful, I'll pick up the phone without saying anything and set it on the floor until I hear the "if you'd like to make a call, please hang up and try again"  and/or the beep-beep-beep of the Your Phone's Off The Hook variety.

Sometimes you'll hear them going "Hello?  Hello?  Is anyone there???"  That's fun.  It also seems to be effective, since it slows down their INITIATED call volume.

Criminals who harass us continually.

The people who call themselves the lupus foundation or healing minds are a criminal establishment not to be trusted. They should be convicted and put in jail for harassment.

These people have been calling me for years! I've asked them to stop. They won't!  I didn't even know what "Healing Minds" was or is, until I found out on this site.         All they want is my $$$$$$
Day and night with the calls.

I have resorted to using sound bytes from the Three Stooges as my voice message.  Other than messages that I need to respond to (from callers who know how warped I am), it gets me no left msgs from spammers and a nice reduction in scam/spam/solicitation calls.

Well now my wife and I are on their hit list to call at least 4 times a week for the last three months  .... never leaving messages ... the couple of times I have picked up no one answers ... the one time someone did and I told them to remove us from their call list they did not . This is harassment plain and simple according to every State and Federal statute regardless of whether or not they are a legitimate Charity ... which they are not as if you call the real Lupus foundation you'll find this 303 232 4483 bunch is not a part of their work !

Ever since we've moved  back to CO  the phone solicitors  have been calling  left and right despite having an unpublished .... non directory assistance  number and being on every No Call list imaginable .... which leads me to believe its CenturyLink thats selling our new number

They are a nuisance caller. I get repeated autodialler calls from this and other charities. They have multiple numbers they call from. There is never any answer if I do pick up the phone and say hello. They start calling at 7 or 8 in the morning, usually call several times per day (sometimes every hour) and they don't stop calling until 9 pm  in the evening. They leave blank messages where no one speaks. It's harassment. I stopped answering the phone years ago and those who know me know to leave a message and I will call them back. I had to do this because of all the unsolicited calls that come in. Unfortunately there is no way to shut them off other than to unplug the phone, which I am about to do because I am so sick of the constant calls. I pay for a phone for my convenience, not for the convenience of scammers and telemarketers.

there used to be a thing that you could plug into your phone line called a telezapper that could tell if a call was coming from an automatic dialer and it would knock it out of there system. they sold it at  walmart for around $20 your phone wouldnt even ring. this was several years ago and it worked good. I had one. I dont know if theres anything like that out there today or not. you might want to contact radio shack or somewhere like that.its sure worth looking into anyway. If I find out anything I`ll post it.

there are other jobs out there.sure money is important but so is your dignity. these scumbags cant take responsability for there own bad business practices, so everybody else has to take the abuse that they deserve. i suggest if people are tired of getting there constant harrasing calls that they flood apogees phone with calls day and night and of course on sundays 402-564-9903 give these pricks and liers a taste of their own crap. I used to work there too.

Why target this number?  Non-profit and political parties are always calling for donations.  This number happens to be for a cause that is under-funded - mental illness.  It is well worth supporting.

This number calls me every day, several times a day. They start at 9 am and continue calling until 9 at night. It's an autodialler since usually no one is on the line when I answer. The number is apparently associated with The Lupus Foundation but acts like a collection agency. I've asked them to stop calling. They don't and they never leave a message like a real charity would for a donation truck in the neighborhood on a certain date. It must be a scam, since real charities don't act this way. Yes, I'm on the worthless Do Not Call list but it doesn't cover charities or politicians.  Yes, I've read all the above entries about the so-called Lupus Foundation. Sometimes I get so tired of the calls I unplug the phone for a few days.

I listed this company as a telemarketer since they act like telemarketers or debt collectors.

You have just solved the problem the world has been facing for centuries:  The reason there is crime in our cities is because our cities have call centers.  Get on the horn!  Let the Feds in on this!

Apogee is located in a old walmart. The freaking building is full of callers. Just think about it. Think about how many cubicals you could fit in an old super walmart! Believe me i know! I worked there for 3 days and could not take it. I felt like a leech of the middle class. Trying to drain people of there stuff. Just Follow the take me off your list.... Attorney General.... Cellphone.... I told you multiple times to take me off... You use theses all together... You wont get calls from this shady a** place!

Its not that there stupid to do this job. I worked for Apogee for 6 months before my son was born. I have a full time job during the day and worked 4 hours in the afternoon to make some extra money. Alot of the people that work there are disabled vets and people with handicaps. There is NO reason to be a***oles to people that would rather not have to bother somebody else. Just follow the guidlines to get removed from there list. Tell them its a cellphone. Or you will call the attorney general. or you can say you have asked mulitple times to be removed and ask to speak to there supervisor. My personal favorite was start screaming profanity (not at the caller just in general) and say take me off your f****ng list.

I've done that the last few years with this number (alongside several other callers who refuse to accept NO for an answer) without effect. Thankfully I'll be leaving Colorado within the next few months. These so-called "Charities" call continuously here and clearly refuse to accept NO regularly for an answer.
