"unknown name" on the caller ID.  Answering machine picked up.  Definitely an India accent saying Hello twice, then hung up.
Background noise sounded like a small call center.  
Same stories on 800notes as well.  Thanks to everyone who posts. Scammers with another spoofed number.  Mac user.

Just got a call from this number... heavy Indian? accent... said he was calling from the Windows technical department... said my PC was sending them multiple error or other issues... extremely persistent, similar to note above from "Jan" on Mar 13, 2014.  Was only more persistent when I began reading from a website describing this whole scam in detail.   Kept insisting he was legit.  I finally hung up on him.  Now I suppose this info needs to go to Microsoft.

Just got same call, asked if I could call him right back and of course "hung up" ... :(

Got a call several times but not the usual windows issues but now they are offering you free government money by just giving them your full address so they can send the money.  I asked him what was my name and the response was I have your name.  After a few minutes I asked again and he replied with the wrong name and quickly hung up.  Stop calling I said.

Calls from 304-732-9610..... calls and hangs up when you answer. Caller ID lists name of person I don't know. Scammer.

I get a call from this number at LEAST 3 to 4 times a day, saying it is Danny McNulty.  I called it back and it says it is not in service.  I am really tired of this bull.

Got a call from this number and he succeeded in convincing me he was from Microsoft. I gave him control of my computer and he immediately locked it down and said I would have to pay to get access. He appeared to modify Microsoft Security Essentials. Don't know. Computer is at the shop.

Not sure of my losses yet.

I received several calls from this same number today. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, so if they really need me, they can leave a message. They did not ever leave a message. Finally, after 6 attempts to contact me,I answered the call. They wanted to know if I could sit in front of my computer. He had a very heavy mid-eastern or Indian accent. I told him I was at the grocery store. He wanted to know when I would be home and I said "later". He was persistent and pushy. He has not called me back yet. When he does, I'll get an ear full! It's total fraud!!

same as above calling about my computer so i didn't let him finish told him to erase my number from his stupid scams and blocked his number right after f****ng indians with his scams all my scams come from indians!!! and the worst u can't understand their accent ugh annoying

Got call & caller id said Danny McNulty 304-732-9610.  As soon as caller with Indian accent said he was calling from Microsoft, I told him there was not a thing wrong with my computer, he hung up & then immediately after, had a call with nothing identifiable on caller id, I ignored it.

I got the same call and I called him out on it.  Told him his mom must be real proud of him stealing from innocent people.  He hung up on me.  A few seconds later I get another call from him and in a heavily accented Indian accent he said "f*** you moth******er" to which I started laughing at him and he hung up again.

They've called me three times already today! I haven't answered it becuase I don't know who it is and by reading what it says I will just decline their call!

Got a couple of calls from this number.  Same Scenerio...Microsoft etc.  Guy said he was calling from Texas and had my Microsoft computer license number.  Wish someone could stop this type of junk from happening!!!!!

Got a call from this number with the same ol BS line.  Heavy Indian accent which I could barely understand.  I told him I bet your parents are real proud of you pulling this scam  and stealing from innocent people and hung up.

A minute later I get a call from the same number I picked up and the guy guy says "f*** you muthafucker".  I started laughing and he hung up.  Guess he didn't get the desired outrage he was looking for.

This number calls and calls. Ended up blocking the number just to stop it.

checked my caller id this number came up along with the name Danny McNulty. I don't know any one by this name . so I goggled  the number and saw everyone  messages so if another call comes up with this name and same number just don't answer it

Just got this call. Same story as above, wanted to fix my Microsoft windows, asked him since I bought my computer at Microsoft Store why I shouldn't just go back there (not true for 3 of my computers). Asked him if I could call him right back, he gave me 201-732-9610 phone number, which explains why he told me he was in NJ when 304 is area code for West Virginia which came up on my caller I.D.   Asked him repeatedly why it says on the Microsoft website I should not accept calls like this, and he said this was urgent. Very persistent. Am reporting both numbers to the Missouri Attorney General's office. Definitely a scam. They will try and hack and do no good. Heavy Indian accent. He is trying to tell you to give him remote access to your computer. I have done this before with my security firm, and that is exactly what he is trying to do. VERY persistent. Do not fall for it.

Caller claims he is from Microsoft doing "routine service" on Windows computers.  After stringing him along for a bit, I got him to admit he was doing this routine service on every Windows computer in the world!!!  He wanted me to be sitting in front of my computer so he could "check" when my Windows software warranty would expire.   Obviously, I did not oblige and told him to lose the number.   VERY heavy Indian accent, so assuming coming from a call center somewhere.   I asked him what I was going to owe him or what he would want from me for this service.  He said "nothing".  I asked him how he knew I had a Windows computer.  No response.  I asked him WHICH computer he wanted me to sit in front of.  All he could do was ask how many I had. Clearly he wanted to do some sort of remote access.  Beware!!  I really hope no one falls for this.

Keep getting calls from 3047329610. Call display say West Virginia.  Anyone know who it is?

Tell them you are a certified IT specialist employed by IBM and they will hang up on you.
