We, too, have been barraged with these calls.  We have two land lines and two cell phones (all on the "do not call" list), and we have had dozens of calls on each.  Frankly, I don't think the federal government gives a rat's hind end about "Do Not Call" violations.  I've contacted the state Attorney General and got absolutely no help there either.

Do you suppose someone is calling just to see if you're in residence so they can burgle you?  I can't think of what  their motive could be.  I even tried playing along with them once, but couldn't get any useful information.

zipcode 305 belongs to texas; but everytime they call florida appears on my caller id

We have been receiving calls from this organization for at least 8 months.  The call is the "Final notice" concerning credit card interest rate. The calls have come from many different 305 numbers, as well as 850, 877, 407, and 866 area codes, but we get the same recorded message each time.  Whenever we have spoken to someone, they've hung up on us as soon as we asked questions about the company they are representing.  When I tried to tell one person that I was on the Do Not Call list, she also hung up on me.

We also get regular calls from 305 and other area codes concerning "final notice" on our automotive warranty.  This place does exactly the same thing as above - they hang up when we ask any questions (such as what company they represent, which of our cars are they calling about, etc.)

I'd be interested to know what steps we can take to stop these scam calls!

Got call from 305-382-1991. Don't answer numbers I don't know. If they want to talk to me, they should leave a message. They didn't leave a message.

I redialed the number and got "We are sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service. . . "

Got a call at 11am 28th Apr 2009 from 305-382-1991, recorded message says that this is the credit card comany trying to reach me to lower my rates, and this is the final call (never got a call before). Pressed 1 to speak to  "Jason". I immediatly recogonized that this was a scam call, and asked for his company name, address and phone number. He claims he does not know where he works from, not even the city!!!, company name is "Service Center" and that they do not have an incoming phone numbner. I told him I would be reporting to fcc so I need the info, and he says that I should provide him with my name and phone number instead, so they could purge my number from the system. I refused to give him any info and he hung up on me. I called back the number on caller ID, and got a message that the number was invalid or disconnected.

I didn't bother to even pick it up this time.  I too am on the Do Not Call list to which they simply ignore.

these folks called this morn, and BOY did we have fun with them. the gal on the otherside allowed us to berate her for 12 minites before WE got bord. We tried to get HER information as to how much credit debt she had so WE could save HER money. we HARRASED this "southern drawl" lady for the whole conversation,,,, AND SHE TOOK IT!
TURN THE TABLES PEOPLE!! push the button to get to a live person, and play thier game. Just harrass them as much as possible. take as MUCH of thier time as you can afford.

They keep calling, when I answer there is a recording saying " we have tried numerous times to contact you, tis is the final offer to lower your credit card interest". We have no credit card interest.

Calls often-No caller ID - Ignored unwanted call.

I keep receiving calls from this number.  Today, i asked which card they were referring to and they hung up on me.  Yesterday, my husband asked to be take off their list and they hung up on him.  Both times, when we tried to call them back, we got the operator and a message saying the number was disconnected.

Just received a phone call from this number stating that it was my "last chance to lower my credit card interest rate"  I asked them who they were, she said "credit card services".  I asked for which card, she started to mutter something, told the people behind her.. "y'all better leave me alone" and then hung up.

Call from this number the other day. I'm tired of these calls and messages left about lowering credit card rates. When is this s**t going to stop ????? These people can go f*** themselves........

They called me tonight.I don`t pick up if I do not recognize who is calling.Figured it was a scam call.Checking with this site confirmed it.SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE IDIOTS!
What is it with Florida, anyway? Most of  the nuisance calls I get originate in Florida!

They have been calling me nonstop, 5 times just today, and do not leave a message. I am so tired of it.

They left me a voicemail about lowering my credit card rate and I don't even have one.

Same nonsense about "last chance" to lower your credit card interest rate, etc. I told the guy he had called a number on the Federal Do Not Call list, and he just ignored me and kept right on talking. Made a complaint to the Do Not Call website.

Got this called asked what service they worked for. Was "Credit Service" asked for a website to visit for background information said they don't have permission to give it out. Said if they worked for the company why couldn't they give it out? After awhile of asking they just hung up. Calling the FBI in Florida and reporting to the FCC about this.

Live caller said she was with a breast cancer awareness organization and wanted to thank the community for its support during the last year.  I asked to be removed from calling list.  I'm on the National Do Not Call list.  I have filed a complaint with www.donotcall.gov
