Samething as described above happened to me.

They said they were doing a survey.  I called the water and sewer and they said they didn't call me at all...

I just connected water at a new address in Broward, and they called saying they were doing a survey and asked if I was renting or bought the home.  When I realized it was a 305 number - I called back and got a voicemail with no Company identification.

THe same thing just happened to me, they asked for me then said he was Leo from Florida Burglary COntrol and if I had a closing, obviously I said no, and he went on to say he had the wrong number that he was looking for Jacqueline and I said but wait you just said my complete name how is that possible.

Alarm Company, they find out when you purchase a house through the water company and they call to offer alarm svces.
