A woman claiming she was from the law firm of Joseph and Jackson, claiming that I owed money on a loan that I did not take out. Told me that the police would be on their way and I would have to go to court. They said they had a sworn statement but could not tell me who it was from unless I paid the amount owed.

This is a scam. Legit business do not do business this way. Police Departments do not arrest people for defaut loans.

He called me today. It is a scam. He is a fake lawyer. Probably you filled up some loan application in the past and that is how they have all your data even SSN. They called me first 2 months ago and now. I did put an alert to my banks, I will do it the same with the credit agencies and Social security. I also told the police about that. These criminals are not even in US they are oversea probably India. They are using online US numbers.
