If the caller was with a legitimate company and not trying to cheat you, the least they could do is leave a message.

I'm already listed in the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and still get these calls.  So then what.

Stop the irritation:  Put the number in your contacts under "Nuisance" (or whatever you want to name them!) and set their number to "no ring", "silent", whatever your carrier/phone calls it.  If there is a number blocking cell phone, I don't have it - but silencing their ring sure helps until something better comes along!

This number has been calling me four or five times a day at all times (several times at 10 p.m.) for over a month.  I never answered til today when I had enough!  They asked for me and when I said I was unavailable (LOL) and asked if I could take a message, they said no and hung up.  I've been registered on the do not call list and now I will be reporting them to whoever I can!!

My husband and I keep on getting phone calls from this company and they call everyday and when my husband asked why they are calling for me they don't say what it is regarding.  I don't even know who this company is.

Four or five calls per day from 307-459-2990.  A delay and then someone asks for my name.
when I ask who is calling, I am told this is "a courtesy call" and no further information.   But twice
the person said it was "Media House" and wanted to speak to ... my name.  Four or five times per
day is TOO much for a junk call!

Got 9 calls since Thursday on my cellphone alone! Ugh!

i got a call from 307-459-2990. right after i picked up and said hello whoever called hung up

I am getting this number showing up on my phone.
I do not recognize it so I let it go to voice mail.
Several times no message has been left.
One time it went to voice mail, but when I listened to it........nothing was there?
No voice information was left.
I tried to call it back but it rang and rang and rang.
Once I got through but no one or recording was there?

This may work for some or all of you: If your phone carried or cable company phone carrier has a spot on their website for "Call Blocking" then place this number on it and that should work.

Somehow my number got out and I now have SIX different numbers that call me at least every 30 minutes everyday and they are all spam. It's ridiculous. I finally answered this number today and they asked if they could speak to "Beth." I told them they had the wrong number and hung up. Getting the number blocked this afternoon.

I received a call from this number tonight at 7:49 pm CST, it rang three times and hung up. When I called the number back I received an automated messaging stating "extention 1000 is not available" and asking me to leave a message. I did, I advised them I was on the "Do Not Call" list and if they called my number again I would sue them for harrasment.

I have gotten a couple calls from 307-459-2990 this evening as well.  When I looked up the number, it is telling me that it is coming out of Cheyene, WY.    I also received calls from 219-865-9027 and it says from Dyer, IN.

A girl called regarding a magazine subscription, as soon as I said I don't have any magazine subscriptions and don't know what they were talking about they hung up. They did have my first name though...little disturbing. My advice, don't pick-up.

This caller keeps calling my cell.  When I call it call it says, "The person at extension 1000 is unavailable." Then it goes through a message query and takes a message.  From what I understand, the company name is NAM Marketing.  Their 800 number is 800-436-8130.  They do not pick up at this number either.

I have been getting the calls too,telling me I won a trip to vegas through mediatime and other s***,,I told the guy to f*** off he started laughing I said laugh all you want I can play too,so keep it up

Yes got a call from 3074592990 and no pick up when I answered. I called back several times and either busy or no answer. searched the number on the web and found several websites including this one that are all showing the same complaint. Most people seem to be getting the call for no explanation. Having  contracted telemarketing companies myself for my own marketing projects in the pas,t they very well could be using something like a perdictive dialer that will call many lines and connect just one. The  most curious part is the fact that there does not seem to be a good answer as to why they are calling or  motivation that make it  an extra curiosity as telemarketing is actually quite expensive.Ligitimate companies contemplate this method of marketing carfully as it can cost them as much as 1.65 a connect. In conclusion the people calling are brain challenged and losing lots of money or they are up to something illegal and are expecting a different kind of return to cover the very expensive costs. I am not sure where to report this conclusion. It may best if  the police in cheyenne were called and alerted.

I'm with you 100% Rondo. I've done the reporting for this and other similar type of numbers. All to no avail. I found out several sad facts. 1) Using VOIP phone accounts these "companies" can and do change their area code and the number at their own discretion. They're almost impossible to trace. 2) Don't count on federal or any other agency help. In typical government fashion they created a law to protect us from these low-lifes but they didn't put any teeth in the law. The agencies don't have the resources to enforce the laws. {Fear not though. I'm sure they will soon pass another law imposing even more regulations and penalties on these scumbags. Although again with no teeth}
I have found one solution to this problem. It will stop the calls for a period of time but there's no guarantee they won't start again. One other thing to note; what I'm about to describe requires that you maintain the attitude that anyone on the other end of the call is guilty of knowing exactly what their company is doing. They are not innocent. With these two caveats in mind, this is what I do. When the call comes in and I see from caller ID that it's "one of them" I answer the phone and wait for someone to answer. Once they do I pick up the whistle I keep beside every phone in the house and blow it as loud as I can. My action does nothing to close these people down. But knowing that several of these jerks are walking around the streets with a constant ringing in their ear sure makes me feel better.

I've been on the National Do not call list since the beginning.  This number has called me numerous times a day for the past several weeks.  I am beyond irritated.  I've just filed a complaint on the DNC site so we'll see if it stops.  I hope these crooks that call like this and harrass people all rot in he!!.

If this #(3074592990) keeps calling you register your number on the do not call list at www.donotcall.gov register your number if they keep calling report the number at the same web site within a week they stopped calling me. This # is a landline form WY that is trying to bounce a call off of you to earn money. Every time you pick it up you get charged and they get the money. Don?t pick up.

I receive this call 2 or 3 times a day. Unable to call back to see who it is because I receive a busy signal..This kind of calls should be monitored and fined or placed on do NOT CALL LIST

We just started getting these calls from Cheyenne, Wyoming from 307-459-2990 and they keep calling.  My husband finally answered and they asked for me.  He asked them what they were calling for and they said it was a "courtesy call" and when he asked what for they hung up.  If anyone has any tips on what these people are doing and how to make them stop I would love to hear them.  Thanks!

twice they hung up, third they verified it was me and hung Needs to stop.
