They have phoned server times within the past two weeks. They don't leave a message and when answering no one is on the other end.

This was a promotion for Verizon.   They were calling to promote their DSL service which is something I do not need.   I have told Verizon in the past not to make these telemarket calls.   I am on every do not call list that exists.

I get many calls from this number and others as well, and I am also on the DNC Registry.  I don't even want to pick up my phone anymore when it rings.  I let my answering machine get it.  Just today, I've gotten several hangups from them.

This same number keeps calling here as well, it's all static when I pick it up, so I stopped picking it up a couple weeks ago.  They don't leave a message, and I too am on the Do Not Call Registry...I just received a call about two minutes ago (11/03/2007 @ 12:32 EST)...it's extremely annoying!
I call back and a recording starts saying "this number is not in service or no longer available...."

Get lots of calls from this number frequently.  Has called 6 times in the last 2 weeks at different times and never leaves a message.  I'm usually at work when they call but wouldn't pick up if I was home.  I'm own the Do Not Call list.

why are they calling when I'm on the do not call?

We get unwanted calls from this number constantly and we are on the National Do Not Call List. We get them at all hours of the day. The FCC or whatever agency that oversees these harrassing calls from unwanted solicitors need to intervene and put a stop to this immediately. The People behind this need to be fined heavily and or locked up !!

I get repeated calls from this number -- no message left. I refuse to pick up if I'm here.  "They" call at all hours, beginning early a.m.  Annoying. And for sure I'd not respond positively to whoever it is calling -- sales, political, whatever.  I am on Do Not Call Registry -- callers like this should be fined and their phones confiscated.

I am disabled and have a telehone that is in the bedroom, so I have to get in my wheelchair to answer it, but they either do not leave a message or hangup just when I get to the telephone, which makes me furious.

Someone should really stop them, fine them, or something, because for someone like me it is a hardship to have to go all that way to answer it and also causes pain when I have to do it.

Called and does not leave message. There should be a law to stop this. People or Organizations that call and don't leave messages should be fined $10,000 per call.
